90 Day Fiancé’s Alina And Caleb Split & Now He’s Hanging Out With Another Popular Couple

  • DCS

The first instalment of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Season 5’s tell-all special was just released, and all of the cast members except one pair were somehow involved. Caleb Greenwood and Alina Kozhevnikova were left out after TLC cut their narrative from the show due to Alina’s bigoted social media statements. Caleb posted an update about his whereabouts on social media after he missed the tell-all and stated that he is actually hanging out with another well-known franchise pair.

It’s not at all unusual to see 90 Day Fiancé stars out and about, as we’ve seen from Angela Deem’s famed Vegas hangouts (that occasionally result in Angela kicking her buddy Jojo out of her life). Despite this, Caleb Greenwood avoided two other cast members from his season of Before The 90 Days. He was eating tacos instead of taking part in the tell-all special and being interrogated by Shaun Robinson about their activities during and after the season like she did with Gino Palazzolo and others! Along with meeting David and Annie for tacos, Caleb also invited Jasmine Pineda to join in the festivities by tagging her in the post. It’s safe to assume that Jasmine didn’t mean it literally when she said she’d love for them to save her some vegan tacos in her response. Even if Jasmine and Gino were residing in Michigan, travelling to Scottsdale just for tacos seems a little over the top.

In my perspective, David and Annie’s decision to spend time with Caleb Greenwood poses some intriguing issues regarding the future of the 90 Day Fiancé series. David and Annie are undoubtedly one of the most popular couples in the series, and while I doubt they have any influence on TLC’s decisions, their popularity with fans (as demonstrated by the fact that David and Annie received their own spinoff) may encourage them to support the idea of seeing more of Caleb.

It’s also true, in my opinion, that while Caleb Greenwood initially offended some 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days viewers, he eventually won them over with the manner he managed his relationship with Alina Kozhevnikova. After years of online acquaintance, the two made the decision to meet in person. While Caleb was first open to the idea, he eventually confessed to Alina that he wasn’t so sure a relationship between them (despite some awkward bedroom chemistry that fans noticed) would work.

In essence, he felt the need to be honest and say that he didn’t feel capable of handling the level of care required for Alina’s type of dwarfism. Caleb shown a level of maturity in that situation, which is unusual for the brand.

Since Caleb and Alina’s relationship ultimately didn’t work out, it’s possible that this is the reason why he still makes an effort to be seen with other people in 90 Day Fiancé. He might be aiming for a further season to depict his continued search for love overseas. I’m sure some viewers would like to witness that, especially since his season was shortened as a result of Alina’s online issue. But since the current season of Before The 90 Days is almost over, viewers might want to look at the 2022 TV calendar for some new programming possibilities.

The final instalment of the tell-all for 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days airs on TLC on Sunday, April 10. Then we’ll move on to Season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé, which also features a new cast in addition to Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, who are returning.
