Anime is one of the best things that has ever happened on television. However, they do appear to go haywire on occasion. They’ve done everything from a twisted comedy with sexual assault to a pretty messed up take on a rape scenario. Sexual violence, like any other form of entertainment, is incredibly difficult to represent in anime. Certain filmmakers take advantage of the fact that some individuals enjoy viewing sexual violence and include brutal sequences in their films or television shows on purpose.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The objective of this article is not to glorify any form of violence. We are categorically opposed to it. The objective of this article is to bring to light the anime episodes that contain rape or sexual assault sequences, so that the next time you’re viewing one of these with your young son or daughter, brother or sister, you’ll realize that it’s not appropriate for them. Berserk (2016)
Although we don’t see the actual event, this is an inter-species rape scene that is violent. ‘Berserk’ is a film that follows Guts, a black swordsman, as he seeks vengeance. But, if you’re wondering if this anime is as good as its predecessor, don’t be fooled; it’s terrible. Guts has become a target for demons who would stop at nothing to eliminate him. The former mercenary, on the other hand, isn’t having it. He holds the Dragonslayer, a strong blade that comes in useful when battling demons.
Guts is on the lookout for the person who is to blame for his current condition. During his quest for vengeance, he meets some interesting people who join him. Ishido, a thief, is one among them, and he wants to learn swordsmanship from Guts. The other is Puck, an elf with the name of Puck. This scene, however, has nothing to do with Guts or his companions. A horse afflicted by demons is seen here behaving erratically. Farnese tries to mount the horse, but the horse stares at her with its insane eyes and declares that he will be the one to ride her, licking her before rapping her. This is a gruesome scene.
Blade of Immortal (2008)
This is an action anime about a swordsman named Manji who has murdered over a hundred men. He is known for carrying a total of twelve weapons. Manji has been around for a long time and is cursed with immortality. He has an advantage over his opponents because he would have been mortally wounded many times over if he didn’t have this curse. Manji swears that for every good man he kills, he will kill 100 terrible men. If he keeps his promise, the elderly lady who made him immortal will bestow him the gift of mortality. The mother of the girl Manji is now assisting appears in this scenario. She recalls the attack on her father’s dojo by members of a sword school, who killed him and raped her mother. Later, another sword school member describes how one of the members raped her. He killed her out of empathy and now carries her head on his shoulder.
Cross Ange (2014)
In her life, Princess Angelise had all she needed. She was lovely and well-liked by her people until it was discovered that she was resistant to mana, which led to her imprisonment and eventual work as a soldier. This scenario takes place in the first episode, after Ange is detained for being a “norma” and then sexually molested in the name of a cavity search. This is a very distressing scene to watch.
Goblin Slayer (2018)
The anime ‘Goblin Slayer’ was enjoyable at times. If you enjoy fantasy, adventure, and goblin slaying anime, you should give this one a try. The anime is divided into 12 episodes, each of which is 23 minutes long. This anime has a lot of graphic material, so if that bothers you, you’d be better off not viewing it. Onna Shinkan is a porcelain-ranked young priestess and adventurer. She’s about to embark on her first adventure. However, things quickly turn sour when her crew is attacked by a horde of goblins. Onna can only retreat while repeating ‘I’m Sorry’ while one of her colleagues is viciously raped by the goblins.
Hellsing Ultimate (2006)
‘Hellsing Ultimate’ is a fantastic anime despite its frightening scenes. It is one of the best anime series that features vampires. ‘Hellsing Ultimate’ is an Original Video Animation that has 10 episodes and is based on the anime series ‘Hellsing.’ Hellsing is the name of the organization that the anime is based on. Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing is the organization’s head, and her mission is to ensure that the terrible animals are eradicated. She accomplishes this with the support of her massive army, but Alucard, a vampire, is her ultimate weapon. Seras Victoria, Alucard’s latest vampire servant, has arrived.
Sera is forced to repeat her darkest memory, which includes the murders of her mother and father, in one episode. Seras is finally shot when she tries to attack the criminals. Furthermore, the perpetrators do not stop there, claiming that her mother’s body is still warm before rapping her. Seras witnesses this awful incident unfold in front of her while bleeding. As a result of the prevalence of these kind of situations in this anime, it is only appropriate for mature viewers.
Kara no Kyoukai: Tsuukaku Zanryuu (2008)
From one gruesome sex scene to the next, we go on to the ‘Kara no Kyoukai: Tsuukaku Zanryuu’ film series. This scene depicts a male rapping a girl while other members of his gang look on. The scene is even more frightening because the girl, Fujino Asagami, is completely free of any form of touch, including sexual touch. While a result, we see an expressionless Fujino being assaulted by the gang again and over again as the gang grows angrier as a result of her lack of reaction. This scene is also crucial to the anime’s plot. The creators do a wonderful job of portraying the scene as it is rather than making it sexy or humorous.
Kenpuu Denki Berserk (1997)
‘Kenpuu Denki Berserk’ is one of the best anime out there that will satisfy your requirements if you don’t mind violence, gore, or rape as long as the plot is compelling and the characters are interesting. Guts is the anime’s main character. He has spent much of his life surrounded by bloodshed, and he feeds on it because he works as a mercenary. He joins the mercenary band Band of the Hawk after defeating their commander Griffith. The rape of Casca by Griffith is the scene that propels this anime to this position. Griffith, who has merged with a demon, rapes Casca to irritate Guts, who then cuts off his arms to confront Griffith, only to be put down by other monsters. Griffith mercilessly rapes Casca, and Guts has no choice but to watch.
Kyoushoku Soukou Guyver (1986)
The video animation ‘Kyoushoku Soukou Guyver’ is an original work. If you’ve read the Guyver manga, you’ll note that the first four chapters are adapted in this OVA. In addition, there are a few notable differences in this anime adaptation. Don’t worry if you don’t know what this anime is about; you don’t have to. But, in any case, this is a mecha anime in which a man named Sho Fukamachi combines with a mecha with an extraterrestrial design. This fusion happens all of a sudden, and it’s too late to stop it. Now he must use his newly acquired abilities to defend the world from the Chronos Corporation, which seeks to rule the entire globe and employs bizarre biological beings known as Zoanoids as foot troops. But, as I previously stated, you don’t need to know much about it because most of its fame stems from the fact that it is thought to be the father of tentacle porn, which you will see in this OVA.
Mirai Nikki (2011)
Ai Mikami, the seventh diary owner, is the subject of this scenario from ‘Mirai Nikki.’ Marco, her lifelong lover, has access to her diaries. They want to conquer the challenge and become gods so that they can spend eternity together. Ai is persuaded into visiting an abandoned factory by some high school students in this scenario. She believes she is meeting Marco, but she soon finds she is mistaken. The students began to rape her after pushing themselves on her. Marco comes to her rescue at the end of the scene.
NANA (2006)
The following scene is from the anime series ‘NANA.’ ‘NANA’ is a lovely story about a friendship between two girls with the same name. Nana Komatsu, one of the girls, is shy, trusting, and reliant on her boyfriend. Despite the fact that she is aware that this is harmful, she pursues her boyfriend and boards a train to Tokyo. Nana Osaki, the other girl, is outspoken, independent, and aspires to be a singer. She takes the same train to Tokyo as she did before.
These two young ladies cross paths and become friends. Hachi is Nana Komatsu’s nickname. Nana and Hachi have been friends for a long time and have grown connected to their home. However, as Takumi and Hachi’s toxic relationship continues, their friendship deteriorates. Takumi is bossy and refuses to let Hachi speak up. He is always the one who makes the final decision. He’s the one who makes the decision about their marriage and kicks Nana out of the flat. This moment occurs when Takumi takes Hachi into a bed and dominates her, refusing to let her speak. The scene is both emotionally and psychologically unpleasant.
Ninja Scroll (1993)
‘Ninja Scroll’ is an excellent anime film. The action scenes are fantastic, and the visual effects are breathtaking. It’s one of the reasons why anime can sometimes outperform other forms of animation. Jubei is a swordsman who has no desire to be involved in politics, but finds himself lured into it after saving the beautiful Kagero, a female ninja, from a stone-like killer. The killer is a member of a squad of superpowered ninjas that have wiped out Kagero’s team, who was sent to investigate a weird virus that has destroyed an entire town. After the stone-like man has decimated Kagero’s ninja team and taken her back to his home, this scene unfolds. He takes her clothing off and starts licking on her bosom. Jubei, thankfully, arrives to save her.
NouCome (2013)
This is a 13-episode anime series in the romance/comedy genre. I’m not sure whether it’s just my opinion, but does anime occasionally have its comedic concepts mixed up? Come on, sexual assault is never going to make for a funny situation. But, hey, it’s anime, so there’s that. This scene occurs in an anime with a lengthy title (here I have used a sort of acronym). The protagonist, Kanade, is pursued by boys who want to have sex with him, and they do it fairly violently and occasionally in public. All of this occurs while the girls in the vicinity clap and laugh (Seriously?).
Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai (2015)
The following frightening scene is from Ecchi’s ‘Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai’ anime. Let’s talk about ‘Shimoneta’ as an anime before we get into the scene. If you’re a fan of the ecchi genre, you’ll probably enjoy it. The premise is intriguing, and it sets the tone for a number of amusing situations. Japan has decided to outlaw obscenity, and all residents are subjected to government surveillance for indecent behavior via a gadget worn around their necks. However, there is light wherever there is darkness. Various terrorist groups are forming and attempting to transmit pornographic materials.
Tanukichi Okuma, the son of a terrorist, is the show’s protagonist. He enrolls at a high school in the hopes of becoming friends with Anna Nishikinomiya, the student council president, but instead attracts the attention of the vice president, who is really a rebel sending sexual things to the general public. Tanukichi is forced to join her organization. This scene is nothing less than a rape scene, despite the fact that many people think it’s sexy. We observe Anna Nishikinomiya, the Student Council President, rape Tanukichi Okuma, her love interest. She continues the unsettling behavior, covering his eyes with her panties and ripping off his clothes, despite Tanukichi’s repeated requests to stop.
The End of Evangelion (1997)
When you think of unsettling situations with sexual overtones, this is one of the first scenarios that springs to mind. The film was contentious at the time, and perhaps justifiably so. The experience of watching this anime as a child versus as an adult is vastly different. I recently stumbled across ‘Neon Genesis Evangelion’ when making a list, and I decided to revisit the series. This time, it offered me an entirely different viewpoint. There are several adult themes in the film (by adult, I don’t mean sexual) that may be lost on younger viewers. The anime depicts a dystopian future in which Earth is on the verge of extinction due to alien beings known as “Angels” attempting to destroy the planet.
Nerv is a UN-affiliated agency that houses massive mechas known as Evangelions. Shinji, our protagonist, joins this group in order to pilot a Mecha. His and his teams’ shoulders bear responsibility for the destiny of our planet. However, this show should not be viewed as an useless battle between aliens and robots. Watch it as a self-discovery anime about a young child trying to find his place in the world and his purpose. A little youngster attempting to gain his father’s approval. A young man falls in love.
Shinji tries to wake Asuka up from her coma in the moment we’re going to talk about. Yes, I am aware that you recall it. Shinji exposes Asuka’s bosom in the hopes of eliciting a response from her. Shinji also moans, and we subsequently see his hands covered with a white sticky material (don’t make me say it… don’t make me say it).
Tokyo Tribe 2 (2006)
‘Tokyo Tribe 2’ is more well-known than well-known. This is thanks to the internet sensation known as ‘Goosh Goosh,’ which was previously available on YouTube but is no longer accessible due to policy violations. You can view it if you want, but you’ll have to do a little more research. The anime isn’t horrible, and if you like gangs and secret societies, you might enjoy it. The scene in question is one in which a gang boss, who is a very massive man, anally rapes and kills another man. There is a lot of blood, gore, and horrifying voice acting in this film.
Wicked City (1987)
‘Wicked City’ is riddled with errors. I don’t mean that the anime is horrible; in fact, if you enjoy the sensual horror genre, this anime is ideal for you. However, this anime contains numerous unsettling and gory scenes, as well as gloomy topics. So, if that is something that bothers you, you may not appreciate it. I’m not sure if you’d classify this sequence as sexual violence, but it’s undeniably frightening. The show is about otherworldly beings who live in the Black World, an alternate reality. This scenario begins like any other sex scene, with a regular woman having sex with a male. But hold on! She morphs into a spider-like creature with teeth-like characteristics in her lady parts very quickly. I’m not joking when I say this.
Wicked City (1987)
Many uncomfortably sexual sequences from the film ‘Wicked City’ could be included on this list. It’s the kind of film where sex, nudity, and gore are expected. The scene in which Maki is gang-raped by a gang of demons is the one I’m referring to. Taki arrives a little late to witness this horrifying scenario. We observe nudity throughout the action, as the demons fondle Maki’s bosom while continuing to rape her. Taki, thankfully, comes to his senses and kills the demons in order to save Maki.
