The sixth season of Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg’s cartoon sitcom Big Mouth will premiere on Netflix tomorrow, October 28.
The characters continued to experience the effects of puberty while dealing with the difficulties of adolescent love and life with the aid of fictitious “hormone monsters.”
Season six, which will debut on Netflix on October 28 at 8am BST, will explore the concept of family in all of its manifestations. Big Mouth typically lasts 10 episodes per run, however the number of episodes in the upcoming season has not been officially confirmed.
The sixth season’s teaser reveals that the youngsters will learn some shocking family secrets from the results of their DNA testing, struggle with the jealousies and anxieties of having new siblings move in with them, and experience the standard teenage shame cycle at home and at school. Big Mouth will also incorporate several plotlines from the spin-off series Human Resources, such as Maury being expecting Connie’s child.
Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Brian Tyree Henry, Chris O’Dowd, Ed Helms, Ira Glass, Jeff Goldblum, Peter Capaldi, Steve-O from Jackass, and Tyler, The Creator are among the guest voice actors for the upcoming season. All of the series regulars, including Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Ayo Edebiri, Maya Rudolph, Fred Armisen, and Jordan Peele, will return.
The series will also welcome back past guests including Ali Wong, Chelsea Peretti, Andrew Rannells, Chloe Fineman from Saturday Night Live, Jenny Slate, Kristen Schaal, Mark Duplass, Natasha Lyonee, Thandiwe Newton, and others.
Netflix announced in April that Big Mouth would return for a seventh season. The spin-off series Human Resources, whose first season aired earlier in the year, was also reported to have received a second season renewal at the same time.
