A rising star from the Philippines named Egano.
He gained notoriety by participating in a number of high-profile occasions, such as boxing legend Manny Pacquiao’s “Blow by Blow” show.
Due to the untimely departure of Egano, who had a record of seven victories and one loss, tributes have poured in from all over the world.
Last week, MP Promotions hosted an eight-round fight between Egano and Jason Facularin.
The show, hosted by the 44-year-old Pacquiao’s firm, is a weekly event that takes place at the Imus Sports Gym in Cavite, the Philippines.
Egano showed tenacity and made a tremendous comeback after surviving a knockdown throughout the bout. The outcome was still up in the air as the final buzzer sounded.
A split decision gave the fight to bantamweight Egano.
He passed out on the canvas, though, before the judges could give the results.
He was taken urgently to the hospital, where a brain haemorrhage was discovered and he was put into a coma.
According to The Daily Mail, Pacquiao vowed to promptly pay for the young boxer’s medical bills.
The tragic passing of Egano was confirmed by the Philippines’ Games and Amusements Board.

The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) expressed its condolences for the loss of professional boxer Kenneth Egano in a statement.
We offer our condolences to Kenneth’s family, friends, and loved ones. May he rest in peace, his soul.
Additionally, Pacquiao praised Egano and emphasised the perils that the sport entails.
Nothing is more valuable than a human life, he claims.
“Boxing is a very risky sport, and since they risk their lives, boxers should be treated with respect. You participate in other sports, but not boxing.
Facularin, Egano’s adversary, also released a statement following his demise.
“I didn’t anticipate that this would happen when we did our best,” he says. Why did this occur to us? We regret that it occurred. I hope everything is well with you.
Twitter has been used by boxing supporters to honour one of the game’s emerging stars.
One commenter says: “In a fight that he also prevailed in. Oh my goodness, may God rest his soul.
One more adds, “RIP Champ.”
“Why all boxers deserve respect every time they step into the ring,” a third person adds.
My sympathies are with his family and friends, adds another admirer. I’m wishing you well.
Other people comment, “Really terrible day for the sport. A severe setback for boxing.
Boxers risk their lives every time they compete, according to one commenter, making it the “loneliest sport for a reason.”
While another supporter writes, “Rest in peace and condolences to the whole family.”
