Chris Moyer Murderer: Why Did He Kill His Family?

  • DCS

The murder of Chris Moyer’s family in 2011 was a sad event. Christopher Moyer of Warrington, Pennsylvania, killed his family and then let a train run over him to kill himself.

He told the police that he killed his family, and then he left the house and killed himself.

Christopher Moyer had already left the house by the time the police arrived.

About three hours later, his body was found on the SEPTA tracks in Hatboro. He had his head on a rail while he waited for the train that would kill him.

Even now, the person’s family and friends still don’t know why they did these terrible things.

How did he kill his family?

Christopher Moyer killed his wife, Irina Geller Moyer, and their son, Dillon, before he killed himself.

He hit them with a baseball bat while they were asleep and killed them both.

During the investigation, the body of the 7-year-old child was found in another bedroom, and the body of the 39-year-old wife was found in the bathroom next to the main bedroom.

The police investigation

Chris Moyer told the police that his wife and son had died, and soon after, the investigation began.

The man’s home in the 100 block of Redstone Drive was surrounded by police from Warrick, Warminster, and Warrington.

Police didn’t go into the house because they weren’t sure if the person who had called was still there. When they got there, they found the person they thought had killed the two people inside with them.

The bloody bat was next to the child, and there were no signs of resistance, so the police thought that both the bat and the child had been sleeping when Christopher killed them.

Shortly after that, Moyer’s body was found on the railroad track, along with other things and around $1300 in his pocket.

Police say that a 44-year-old Warrington man killed his wife and son with a baseball bat before turning himself in on Friday night.

Officials say that he laid down in front of a train to try to kill himself. Police say that the man called 911 around 9:40 p.m. to report the crime.

He told the 911 operator that he found his wife and son dead from blunt force injuries. When the operator asked Chris if he did it, Chris said yes.

The operator noticed that the caller was polite and that he said “thank you” several times during the conversation.

At 1:00 in the morning, police from Montgomery County were called to Hatboro because someone had been found dead on the train tracks. The car of the person who called 911 was found nearby.

The person seems to have put his head on the train track while he was waiting for the train, the police say.

Inside the family home, a typed note with the names and phone numbers of relatives was found.

Investigators found signs that the family had problems with money.

The only thing that investigators have been able to figure out is that the Moyers were having money problems.

The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said there would be no more investigation into the double murder-suicide that happened on Redstone Drive in Warrington on Friday night because there is no one to charge.
