The infamous killer doll has just just begun to play! During the Television Critics Association’s 2023 Winter Press Tour, Syfy and USA Network announced today that their popular series Chucky has been renewed for a third season, which will premiere in the fall of 2023.
A brief teaser trailer that includes various tweets requesting that the show receive a third season was released along with the news of the Season 3 comeback. These requirements have now been satisfied because “Chucky Always Comes Back” has been promised. The second season, which aired on USA and Syfy from October 5, 2022, to November 23, made a major impression and ranked among the top 10 dramas on television for the 18-49 demographic in 2022. The series, which is based on the Child’s Play film series and is run by the film series’ creator Don Mancini, follows the murderous exploits of the titular Chucky, a sentient doll that is infected with the spirit of serial killer Charles Lee Ray, played by Brad Dourif in a return to the horror genre.
