This touching obituary for Danielle Elizabeth Garcelon describes the sudden loss she left on the Guilderland, New York, community.
On April 2, 2023, she suddenly departed away at the age of 26 at her home.
A Life Dedicated to Helping Others
Danielle was a beloved daughter of Lisa and Tony Garcelon and a devoted sister to Anthony and Michael. She was born on July 25, 1996, in Albany, New York.
She attended Capital Region BOCES to further her education after graduating from Guilderland High School in 2014 with the class of that year to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Despite having periodic reservations about her job decision, Danielle Garcelon’s sensitive character and remarkable skills come through in her nursing profession.
Her employer even recently said that being a nurse was in her future.
A Loving Family and A Competitive Spirit
Despite having a terribly short existence, Danielle Garcelon made the most of it. She was devoted to her family and delighted in teasing her brothers in good fun.
She was the proud owner of two dogs, Bella and Dunkin, with Dunkin holding a particular place in her heart.
Danielle used to like competing in cheerleading competitions with her best friend Skye or taking on her brothers in the gym. She also loved cheerleading in her earlier years.
Danielle leaves behind a sizable extended family, which includes numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, in addition to her parents, Tony and Lisa, brothers Anthony and Michael, and grandfather Robert Garcelon.
Together with her grandparents Camille and John Pelletier, aunt Jeannine Pelletier, cousin Nicholas Berna Combes, great aunt Betsy Pelletier, and great uncle Roger Pelletier, she was also predeceased by her grandmother Joan Garcelon.
