The popular drama’s Season 11 premiered earlier this year, and viewers watched as Joséphine Jobert’s character DS Florence Cassell exited the show.

For the upcoming season, Don Warrington, Elizabeth Bourgine, Tahj Miles, Shantol Jackson, and Ginny Holder will all be back.
The show will return later this month for a Christmas special for viewers who can’t wait until then.
The following is a summary of the upcoming holiday episode: “After a true crime podcaster on the hunt for a missing child is killed, one of Selwyn’s cases returns to haunt him. When Marlon is made to spend the night in a haunted house, Darlene examines her decisions in life carefully. Could love finally be in the air for Neville Parker following a fortuitous encounter in an airport parking lot?”
Death in Paradise, season 11 episode 8 of BBC, stars Shantol Jackson as Naomi Thomas and ralf little as Di Neville Parker.
A new casting announcement for the upcoming series was been made, in the meanwhile.
Jo Hartley, a star of This Is England and After Life, will join the cast for the show’s 12th episode. Her addition was revealed on the account for the programme on Twitter.
The actress posted on Twitter: “In paradise, JOJO. What a journey! enjoyed every second. Good people make for lovely memories. WHO DID THIS? Thank you so much, @deathinparadise, for bringing me on! Sun-filled fun!”
That’s not all, though.
