Ghost of Tsushima: Legend, Things To Know Before You Start Playing The Game!

  • DCS

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, which was released as an add-on only three short months after the core game’s release in July 2020, was the best kind of surprise in the middle of the epidemic. Ghost of Tsushima: Legends successfully adapted the main stealth and combat concepts of the captivating single player game into a rousing (and surprisingly stable!) multiplayer experience. It is a free, full-featured co-op mode without microtransactions.

This week’s standalone mode release of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will allow a completely new audience to experience samurai life. Why not get the upper hand by reviewing Ghost of Tsushima: Legends and explaining why it’s worthwhile?

Becoming a Legend

Players in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends move about the area on foot or with a grappling hook while engaging in close- and long-range combat to eliminate a large number of adversaries in a variety of game types. In the beginning, players select one of four starting classes, each of which has a distinct set of skills and ultimate power.

• Samurai – A fighting class with talents designed for tanking and dealing out significant damage, the samurai may go menpo to menpo with an opponent.

• Hunter – The archer class, the hunter uses her bow to attack foes before entering the battle. The Hunter can eliminate groups of adversaries before they can even close the distance with accurate aim and supportive abilities.

The Ronin is a support class that focuses on the party’s healing and recuperation. He is an essential member of any team due to his capacity to restore all fallen allies.

• Assassin – The stealth class, the Assassin excels at sneak attacks and shadow attacks.

Leveling up in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends involves both an XP-based and a gear-based loot-based system. The “Ki” of each class is levelled independently using experience points, although the loot, such as weapons and charms, is shared among all classes. The special bonuses that some gear has can be removed if not desired or re-rolled with in-game currency.

You can only select one starting class at first, and you’ll be forced to stick with it until you unlock the others as you gain experience. Choose wisely, to paraphrase a certain grail knight.

Die á La Mode

There are presently four game modes available: Quickplay, Story, Survival, and Challenge. A challenging tier system of bronze, silver, and gold exists in Quickplay, Story, and Survival modes, all of which have Ki requirements before they can be completed. The main gameplay cycle involves playing these modes repeatedly at progressively higher tier levels, which is how you level up your Ki and get high-level items.

• Quickplay does exactly what it says it will do—it drops players into a random Story or Survival mode that is already running.

Up to four players are tasked with holding onto positions on a variety of maps against more overwhelming odds in the typical wave-based progression game known as “survival mode.”

• The nine-episode arc of the Story mode, designed for up to two players, weaves an interesting story and introduces several original gaming concepts.

• The Tale of Iyo, an end-game three-chapter raid in challenge mode, is suggested for players who have committed to the grind and levelled their Ki to 100. It takes four players because of the difficulty.

When Ghost of Tsushima: Legends debuts as a standalone title, it will have a brand-new Rivals four-player mode. In this brand-new game option, two players will cooperate to take down waves of foes in order to earn currency that they may then utilise to attack the other two-player team.

The game is designed to be played with a friend, but if you’d rather, you can play Quickplay, Survival, and Story by yourself.

Tip of the Sword

Depending on how much time you’re willing to devote, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends can be a little diversion or a full-blown addiction. The odds favour the latter, though, given how tremendously fun it can be. Additionally, from September 10 through October 1st, the game’s creator, Sucker Punch, has promised weekly updates, offering even more value for your hard-earned gaming money.
