Season 3 of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan has finally arrived after more than three years — three years! — since Season 2 was first broadcast. Beginning very soon, a fresh cycle of episodes will air, with John Krasinski reprising his role as the titular Jack Ryan. This season should bring huge things for Amazon Prime Video, as it should. It’s a safe bet that this will be the most popular season of Jack Ryan yet because Prime Video has become the leading streaming platform for military thrillers based on best-selling book series in the years since we last saw new episodes.
We’ve been waiting for information about Season 3 since since Season 2 debuted in October 2019, but there weren’t many specifics. But recently, Jack Ryan Season 3 news from Amazon Prime Video has been released in a rush, with a release date, a new trailer, and other information. What is known about Jack Ryan Season 3 is listed below.
On October 27, 2022, Amazon Prime Video released the first trailer for Jack Ryan Season 3. The latest clip has our hero desperately attempting to stop Russian bad guys from beginning World War III while on the run from the CIA (!!!). The Jack Ryan Season 3 Trailer area is where you can view the trailer.
Jack Ryan Season 3 release date
Jack Ryan was like a ghost after making his Prime Video debut on August 31, 2018, and then making a second season comeback on October 31, 2019. Despite the fact that we knew Season 3 was on the way, Amazon kept quiet about it for years. Season 3 was finally revealed relatively early in February 2019. After that, nothing, though! Years later, in September 2022, a secret document arrived on my desk, finally revealing the release date for Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Season 3: December 21, 2022. There were more than three seasons between those. Late is better than never. On that day, all eight episodes will be released.

What will Jack Ryan Season 3 be about?
The forthcoming chapter’s official Amazon description presents a drastically different picture of Jack Ryan’s season. “In the third season of the action-thriller series, Jack Ryan is serving as a CIA case officer in Rome when he receives information that the Sokol Project, a covert effort to revive the Soviet Empire more than 50 years after it was believed to have been abandoned, is about to be revived. Jack sets off on a quest to verify the intelligence, but things quickly go wrong and he is falsely accused of being a part of a wider plot. If Jack wants to have any chance of finding the rebellious element before it’s too late, he must flee his own country after being charged with treason and having a Red Notice issued for his arrest. Jack travels throughout Europe while being pursued by both old and new foes in a race against time to prevent a chain reaction of destabilising conflicts from resulting in a worldwide catastrophe.”
Who will be in Jack Ryan Season 3?
Since Jack is on the run in the third season’s plot, it’s difficult to predict exactly who will return because of how difficult it would be to bring back the entire ensemble from the first two seasons. However, we do know that Michael Kelly’s Mike November and Wendell Pierce’s James Greer will play significant roles. Abbie Cornish, who portrays Cathy Mueller, Jack’s love interest, has been confirmed to return to the show in Season 4, but there is no indication on whether she will appear in Season 3.
