Unresolved Mystery: The Julia Murray Murder Case

The world was shocked by Julia Murray’s murder-suicide. a mother in Georgia’s Glynn County. allegedly killed her son and daughter before committing suicide.

Julia Murray reportedly dialled 911 from her grandparents’ home when she was 21 years old. She informed the operator that Creighton, 2, and Ansli, 4, had drowned.

What happened to Julia Murray?

She sounded extremely calm, the 911 operator who answered Murray’s phone said. Her voice had a cold, indifferent tone.

Murray’s shock was audible to the operator, who asked him to restate her claim that she had killed them.

I drowned them out…The 21-year-old mother of two from Glynn County said, “They are two and four,” before the quiet was only broken by her hurried, laboured breathing.

She shot herself after the operator asked her to tell him what had happened.

He repeatedly questioned, “Are you there? I hope all is well with you. Murray appeared surprised as he spoke softly.

“No. Please go quickly; I just shot myself with a gun, Murray cried.

It was the first time since she quietly gave her name, address, and phone number at the beginning of the emergency call at 9:50 a.m. that she had deviated from her cool, collected demeanour. The ninth of February 2010 has passed.

After drowning her 4-year-old daughter Ansli and dangerously close to drowning her 2-year-old son Creighton in the bathtub of their Baumgardner Road home, Murray made the almost 2-minute call, and those were her last words.

Police investigation

Police found Murray dead in one room with a.357-Magnum handgun nearby, and her son and daughter’s bodies were still wet in their bedroom, according to Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering.

On the same bed, Ansli and Creighton appeared to be sleeping peacefully next to one another. The Times-Union was informed by Police Captain and Marissa Tindale that there were no visible evidence of harm other than drowning symptoms.

Creighton was still breathing, but his sister had passed out. Doering claimed that the lady and her kids had been taken to the Southeast Georgia Health System’s Brunswick location.

The same day at 10:44 a.m., Ansli passed away. According to Jimmy Durden, the county coroner, her mother passed away at 11:57 a.m. when he was admitted to the hospital. Creighton’s status was steady.

Murray, according to the police, was shot in the upper left chest region.
