The spokesperson for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Don Aaron, told The Post that Kyle was found dead at the couple’s home on Friday after he had shot himself.
According to the statement, when Kellie woke up, she looked for her husband Kyle but couldn’t find him. Soon after that, she and her assistant went back to the house to look for him. They found out that a door upstairs was locked.
Even though I knocked several times, no one opened the door. Shortly after that, the two people called the police, who got to the house around 1 p.m. local time. He was dead, and the police found him.

Kyle was happy about the success of a new song he wrote with country star Lee Brice just one day before he died. At that time, he went to Instagram and wrote about how happy he was.
