Lady Gaga’s old penthouse in New York City deserves a big round of applause.
The two-story, 1,985-square-foot property can now be rented for $35,000 a month. It has great views of Central Park and the Midtown area.
Two private balconies are on the first floor of the penthouse. On the second floor, there are two large decks with beautiful landscaping that Lady Gaga put in when she lived there.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex is listed for rent with Merav Shalhon of Essential New York Real Estate. It was also shown in the singer’s 2017 documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two.
“Central Park can be seen from every room in the impressive unit, and you can see the whole park from end to end,” says Shalhon. “The views are so beautiful that you have to see them in person to fully understand them. Pictures don’t do enough to show how beautiful it is.”
As soon as residents walk through the foyer of the penthouse, they see the large living room, which has a wood-burning fireplace and large windows.
The dining room opens right into the living room and has a door that goes out to one of the balconies.
In the chef’s kitchen, the walls are made out of white bricks and have granite countertops.
The main bedroom is up the stairs. It has another wood-burning fireplace and a wide view of the park.
The white marble bathroom is connected to the main bedroom. It has a soaking tub and a direct route to the walk-in closet.
The main bedroom has access to both of the terraces and a separate “doggy area” with a fire hydrant that Gaga put there for her dogs.
