When Lala Kent confronted her ex Randall Emmett about cheating on her in October 2021, he allegedly “tackled” her and shoved her to the ground.
According to the “Vanderpump Rules” alum, the claimed attack started when she tried to take his phone from him so she could examine its contents, Kent said to the Los Angeles Times in a shocking exposé on Thursday.
“He ran after me, tackled me and knocked me to the ground,” the reality star, 31, claimed. “I used every ounce of strength to get him off of me as he was trying to pry it from my hands.”
The Bravo personality added, “That was when I knew, for sure, that there was a lot he was hiding.”
Five individuals, according to the source, corroborated that Kent had told them about the tackle.
Lala Kent- Randall Emmett’s $10 Million Lawsuit
Lala Kent of Vanderpump Rules revealed in October that she had called off her three-year engagement to her then-fiance, Randall Emmett. Emmett appeared to be hanging out with other women in photos that surfaced, causing some to think that infidelity was the main reason for the breakup. This and other details about her ex have been corroborated by the Bravo reality star. She is now, however, being clean about Emmett’s $10 million lawsuit making news and how, in reality, people were turning to her for money when they split up.
The Fyzz Facility was suing Randall Emmett, George Furla, and their joint production business for a whopping $10.8 million in damages, according to court documents acquired by Radar Online. Emmett and the others allegedly failed to reimburse the business for a $4 million loan that was meant for the production of the movie Mexicali, which would have starred Gerard Butler. The lawsuit also charges the defendants with breach of contract for allegedly using the loan to front a different project with Butler (reportedly a movie called Hair of the Dog in post-production) without their consent.
According to the source, the well-known Hollywood producer, whose credits include Silence and The Irishman, has also been involved in other legal disputes. According to rumours, Randall Emmett is being sued by an insurance provider for both allegedly committing fraud and failing to pay the rent for his office premises. But when questioned about the eight-figure case involving a loan default, his ex-wife Lala Kent insisted she was unaware of it. On Jeff Lewis Live, she stated:
I’m not familiar with all of its details. The headline was just delivered to me. Since it truly has nothing to do with me, I don’t really delve into what he’s going through.
The Vanderpump Rules alum had previously talked extensively about her previous financial arrangement with Randall Emmett. She stressed that she “never had access to anything he owned” throughout their five-year relationship and that she always had her own bank account and credit card. Jeff Lewis continued to press the celebrity recently, pointing out that if they had married as scheduled, she might have became embroiled in the ongoing legal dispute. Kent answered,
Oh, believe me. I received calls from persons seeking to collect money after the relationship ended. We weren’t wed, I replied. You must gather elsewhere. Sorry.’
Lala Kent went on to describe to the host how difficult her ex’s relationship is right now as they negotiate Ocean, their now 1-year-old daughter’s, custody and child support. They reportedly reached a support agreement three months ago. Kent claims that Randall Emmett hasn’t paid it, though she doesn’t really anticipate him to. She further claimed that following their divorce, the staff at Emmett’s Los Angeles estate approached her “demanding to get paid,” adding that she can only “hope” that Ocean’s nanny is currently being paid.
The 31-year-old has previously argued that she was unaware of Randall Emmett’s purported extracurricular pursuits until after they parted ways. However, her co-star on the Vanderpump Rules, Scheana Shay, made the shocking revelation that Kent might have had a hint after all.
Bravo has given the go-ahead for a tenth season of Vanderpump Rules. Lala Kent has disclosed that the reality show likes to “reward” her monetarily for drama, while the primary cast has not been announced. And based on the current upheaval in her personal life, it appears they’ll continue to reward her.
With Peacock Premium, viewers may catch up on previous seasons including what was probably Randall Emmett’s final episode of the show.
