Walker and Laney Beville Hayes originally crossed paths in elementary school. Walker Hayes, a rising star in the country music industry, created waves with his first big hit, “You Broke Up With Me,” but it’s not a song about a girl. The song is about how he lost a record deal and how no one believed in him, despite the fact that he succeeded on country radio. Happily, Laney Beville Hayes, his wife, has always been his staunchest ally.
They certainly were the cutest. About twenty years ago, the childhood buddies went on their first date. Funny enough, they attended a monster truck show. Walker and Laney tied the knot on June 12, 2004, and they recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary.
a baby picture of Walker Hayes Facebook Hayes praises his wife for never giving up on him and realising all of his potential. In fact, when he proposed to Laney at age 23, he had no intention of becoming a professional musician. He believed he would pursue a career in real estate in the same manner as his father. He did, however, end up falling in love with it after performing at a bar. The native of Alabama then called his fiance and announced his intention to relocate to Nashville.
In spite of Laney’s mother laughing at him when he discussed his job goals, the couple decided to move in together.
According to Hayes, his wife “has a way of looking at me and remembering what’s greatest about me… even when it’s nowhere near coming out.” She has more faith in my abilities and abilities than I do.
But it was difficult. Walker was trying to start his profession, but the family was having a hard time making ends meet, and Hayes felt completely dejected. Lela, Chapel, Baylor, Beckett, Everly, and Loxley are his six children. They have encouraged and supported him during all of his challenges.

Walker has now established himself in Music City. While Hayes frequently draws inspiration from their kids when producing songs, Laney spends her time homeschooling their kids.
Together, Walker and Laney have experienced many highs and lows, but they have persevered. The couple received their infant daughter Oakleigh Klover Hayes on June 6, 2018, but tragically lost her due to an unforeseen medical incident. The family has been making an effort to mend while continuing to function as a very solid family.
