Please accept my gratitude, “Minx” viewers. The schedule for a second season has returned. The popular show’s second season was ordered by HBO Max in May 2022, but due to cost-cutting measures, the company changed its mind in December 2022. (all this despite the fact that production for the new season was nearly complete). A month later, Starz declared that it had come to an agreement to buy the programme and screen the second season.
“Minx,” a workplace comedy that is set in Los Angeles during the sexual revolution of the 1970s, follows a group of people as they try to produce and market a sexy magazine for women. Ophelia Lovibond’s portrayal of the young feminist Joyce Prigger is the brainchild behind the “Minx” publication, which is modelled after actual periodicals. She must contend with an unreliable ex-boyfriend Glenn (played by Michael Angarano) and a publisher named Doug Renetti (played by Jake Johnson), who encourages her to change her original idea in order to appeal to the market. Joyce must deal with the relationships she’s developing at “Minx,” her own blind spots regarding her own narrow-mindedness and sexual preoccupations, and the several influential individuals attempting to shutter down the magazine.
Here is what we currently know about “Minx” season two, which is presently back in production.
