America’s Got Talent’s Season 18 tryouts included rising country artist Mitch Rossell.
He entered the competition with the intention of catching the judges’ and audience’s attention.
In a recent tape that America’s Got Talent released, it was quite evident how moved the audience was by Mitch Rossell Son’s emotional explanation.
He noted how his late father was a significant influence on his early musical career as he began to give his side of the story.
He claimed that it was his father who first got him interested in music. When Rossell was younger, he used to travel with his father and spend time in the car listening to country music.
They used to enjoy themselves immensely as they loudly sang the songs together.
Rossell went on to say that his father’s memories play a significant role in explaining his deep attachment to country music.
He also mentioned how, despite the fact that they were struggling, his father found a way to get him an acoustic guitar so that he could play music without any restrictions.
He later revealed on stage, with tears in his eyes, that he lost his father, who was also his childhood musical companion, in a horrific drunk driving automobile accident when he was 10 years old.
He described it as a bizarre automobile accident. It was a compact community. The truck was being driven by his grandfather as it went one way on a highway.
His father and grandmother-in-law were driving their own work van home from the office.
A drunk driver struck his grandfather’s automobile from behind as they were about to cross paths, forcing it into the opposing lane.
Unfortunately, Rossell’s father’s automobile was approaching from the other lane and was going the other way.
The two cars crashed, and the force of the impact was so great that all three of them died instantly.
Rossell undoubtedly faced incredibly difficult struggles as a result of this awful event.
Rossell continued living his life even though he didn’t feel like it. He decided to follow his passion for country music as a way to pay tribute to his dearly departed father.
He picked up the guitar again and began playing at neighbourhood concerts.
He had the chance to showcase his extraordinary talents on America’s Got Talent after waiting a long time.
