Devi Vishawakumar is followed in Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” as she negotiates the challenges of adolescence. She does well in school, but she has no romantic accomplishments to show for it. By dating the most attractive boy in school, she resolves to change that. Still, there’s an issue. Devi has to be extremely cautious about her relationships because her mother doesn’t like that she dates.
When Nalini meets someone she enjoys spending time with in the fourth season, things change for her as well. As they connect over similar interests, an unplanned encounter with Andres develops into something more. There are still some obstacles on their way. Nalini and Andres Find Love Together
At Sherman Oaks High, Nalini and Andres first cross paths in the principal’s office. Nalini chooses to intervene after Devi accuses Margot of vandalising her car; she is oblivious to the dispute between the girls. Margot’s father, Andres, stands up for his daughter when she is charged with damaging the vehicle. Their daughters’ arguments also involve Nalini and Andres, who detest one another.
They would meet at Nalini’s place the following time. When a step at their house breaks, Nirmala Pati recommends a contractor Len discovered on Yelp. It’s Andres, as it happens. Nalini initially considers getting someone else, but she allows Andres to redo the stairs as the situation becomes urgent. He destroys the staircase without first talking to Nalini after learning that it would need to be rebuilt as a whole. Originally, there was only going to be one stair. After giving her the assurance that it will be finished in a day or two, he disappears from work for a week.
He is confronted by an enraged Nalini, who admits that he did it out of spite. Andres is shown to be a single parent during the chat. His spouse departed from him and Margot to be with another person. He also learns that Nalini has been parenting Devi by herself since she is a widow. Despite their daughters’ disagreements, Andres chooses to act professionally and mends the stairs. But Nalini discovers something else that need attention, so Andres stays for a few more weeks.
Because of their comparable circumstances, Nalini and Andres become close. He also realises that when Devi travels to New York for the school trip, she must feel alone. They become close friends, but because of the hostility between their daughters, they decide against dating. Devi makes the decision to patch things up with Margot after learning about it. When she departs for Princeton, she wants to make sure her mother is not left alone. Her strategy appears to be working for a time, then Pati’s birthday drama ensues.
Margot finds it strange that Ben, who went high with Trent, shows up at Devi’s house carrying flowers. When Baby arrives at the same moment, Kamala confronts Len for being a con guy. Andres and Margot depart as all of this drama is playing out, giving Nalini the idea that Andres would want to be apart from their family. But later, he arrives at her place, tells her that he wants to be with her, and they share a kiss. There’s no reason why Devi and Margot can’t be together now that they’ve also moved past their past animosity. Additionally, Andres attends Nirmala and Len’s wedding, indicating that he and Nalini wind up dating.
