‘The Patron’ by Peter Webber is now being actively developed at Double Vision Productions in London. The protagonist of the movie is Jamie, whose encounter with aspiring artist Katherine Scarno alters his life “forever.” The official logline for the movie reads, “Falling madly in love, he secretly and compulsively acquires her paintings, until his relationship with them and with her merges into hallucination and murder. Hugh Cornwell wrote the script for the movie.

The prequel to “Red Dragon,” “Hannibal,” and “The Silence of the Lambs,” “Hannibal Rising,” was the next film he directed. The movie is produced by Iain Tait and Mark Thomas. Thomas is renowned for producing “The Runaways” and working on the crew of “The Bank Job,” which stars Jason Statham. The remaining members of the film’s cast and crew have not yet been revealed.
