Pink has gotten a lot of gifts during her concerts, such as flowers and plush toys, but in London, the singer was greeted with something a little different. A fan hurled a bag containing their mother’s cremated remains onstage as the 43-year-old pop artist was giving a performance at BST Hyde Park on Sunday.
Pink was taken aback and somewhat unsure on how to respond. She briefly argued with the fan before continuing with her performance. The incident’s footage is currently trending on social media. To get all the specifics of the incident, keep reading.
Fan Throws Mother’s Ashes Onstage During Pink’s London Concert
On June 25, while Pink was singing her hit song Just Like a Pill at BST Hyde Park in London, the incident took place. When Pink was in the front of the stage, one of the audience members threw a plastic bag, which fell on Pink’s feet.
When The What About Us picked up the bag and looked inside to find grey ashes, she was shocked. “Is this your mum?” she enquired of the fan who had tossed the bag while holding it in her palm. Pink acknowledged this from the fan and said, “I don’t know how I feel about this,” before setting the plastic bag beneath one of the stage’s speakers.

Once on the main stage, the singer said, “I have to say, that was a first.” Without further ado, Pink carried on with her act and finished it off by singing her 2008 single So What while hanging in the air.
The Concert was a Part of Pink’s Summer Carnival Tour
The weekend’s BST Hyde Park performances were a part of Pink’s Summer Carnival tour, which will continue in Europe until July 16. Gwen Stefani served as the opening act for the performances, and Pink thanked her in a sweet Instagram post.
You always have the most swag in the room and are the coolest, friendliest person there is. I appreciate you giving me your weekend. I’m going to call you tomorrow because we still have a lot to talk about. In a photo with Stefani, the singer wrote, “I love you.
Pink’s Summer Carnival Tour will continue in North America from 28 July to 9 October after finishing its European leg. Before wrapping up the Summer Carnival travel in Australia and New Zealand in March of the following year, she will once again travel the USA and Canada for her Trustfall Tour in November.
Pink’s Daughter is also Performing on the Tour
Willow, Pink’s 12-year-old daughter, has also been performing on the Summer Carnival Tour with her mother. In 2021, the duo made their song Cover Me in Sunshine available. Pink mentioned Willow’s participation in the tour and said that Willow will be working at the performances for minimum wage.
Willow is working while on tour. We simply had to discuss the minimum wage, which varies from state to state. I indicated that the cost of a show would be around $22.50, depending on how long I perform. ‘I’ll take $20,’ she says. The maths is simpler to complete. ‘That’s not how you negotiate for yourself,’ I say. ‘You’ll take $25 so it’s easy maths’,’ I say,’ said Pink.
