The second season of Reacher has over. In a brand-new video posted from the set, star Alan Ritchson personally reminds everyone of the news that season 2 of the popular Prime Video series has wrapped filming its last scenes. Reacher season 2 will be even “bigger and better” than the critically acclaimed first season, teases Ritchson as he makes the announcement on a large slate. The video is available for viewing below.
Ritchson is seen in the video saying, “I just came off set,” while his face is painted to look bruised and covered in fake blood. “Season 2 of Reacher Last scene is over. As you can see, things became somewhat frantic. We did not lie when we said that things would return larger and better than ever. Here’s how we finish the season in true Jack Reacher fashion. Season 2 is now back, bigger and better than ever. The evidence is in the pudding, as we promised we would.”
Ritchson may be seen standing next to the large slate after the announcement and bemoaning, “I feel tiny next to this behemoth,” in an outtake.
Beginning in September 2022, Ritchson began filming the season. Ritchson was also the one to tweet a picture of himself carrying a standard-sized slate to mark the beginning of filming at that time. The actor appears much less battered in the picture, hinting that Jack Reacher may be experiencing some hardships in the upcoming second season.
The 11th Jack Reacher book, Bad Luck and Trouble, written by Lee Childs and released in 2009, served as the basis for the second season of the television series. Alan Ritchson reprises his role as Jack Reacher in the upcoming season, which also features Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Bruce McGill, and Maria Sten. Serinda Swan, Ferdinand Kingsley, Rory Cochrane, Shaun Sipos, Domenick Lombardozzi, Luke Bilyk, and Dean McKenzie are recent additions to the cast.
Reacher season 2’s brief summary is as follows, taken from Amazon Video:
Reacher just has one thought in mind when members of his former military unit start showing up dead: revenge.
Even though season 2 of Reacher is over, the new episodes don’t yet have a release date. The first season of the show is presently available for streaming on Amazon Video.
