What is the show ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ all about?
For those of you who are unaware, let us inform you that the original RuPaul’s Drag Race, which is directed by World of Wonder for Logo TV and later, VH1, is the basis for the drag queen competition RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
The programme premiered in the year 2012. The show’s official Twitter feed made the announcement that it would be moving to Showtime in February 2020. The show’s fifth season was subsequently made available on Showtime.
Following that, the show’s producers said that due to “various scheduling and programming adjustments” brought on by the COVID-19 epidemic, VH1 will be broadcasting the programme instead of Showtime. The sixth season of the sitcom will air on Paramount+, the network announced on Twitter in February 2021.
RuPaul invites the former queens who have established themselves as having the most successful careers after leaving the original show to the programme RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. RuPaul takes on the roles of host, mentor, and top judge during the competition. The other judges are Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, and Ross Mathews in addition to RuPaul. The show’s contestants receive fresh assignments every week.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ format has seen a significant alteration in the last few years. The drag queens paired up in teams of two to battle against other queens during the inaugural season of the show. From season 2 to season 6, the queens instead of the main judges had the authority to eliminate contestants.
In contrast, during season 7, none of the drag queens were removed from the show; instead, they all competed to obtain Legendary Legend Stars, which were given to the contestants who triumphed in each challenge.
