On October 20, 1958, Scott Oliver Hall was born. He competed in professional wrestling in the US. He is best remembered for his time with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), where he went by the ring moniker Razor Ramon. Even though he is no longer with us, his legacy will live on. Prior to joining the WWF in May 1992 and becoming famous as Razor Ramon, Hall started his career in 1984. While employed by the company, he won the WWF Intercontinental Championship four times.
He left the company in May 1996 and joined the rival organisation WCW, where he co-founded the New World Order (nWo) alliance with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash. During his stay with the organisation, he won the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship twice, the WCW World Television Championship once, and the WCW World Tag Team Championship nine times. He left WCW in February 2000 and temporarily joined the WWF (later known as WWE) in 2002.
Pundits have referred to Hall as “one of the most captivating performers in the modern annals of professional wrestling.” Hall had the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship at one point, but he never claimed a global title with a significant organisation. As a singles wrestler, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, and in 2020, the nWo Hall of Fame.
