See Season 3: Did Trovere Really Betray Harlan?

Harlan and Trovere marched to Trivantes in See season 3 episode 4 to hear about the predicament of the rebel Trivantian faction, only for Harlan to discover that he is being duped.

With reliable information on the weapons Tormada is constructing with the assistance of Jerlamarel’s kids, Wren has returned to Pennsa. Harlen observes that coal is a key component used in the production of these weapons.

The only person who brings coal into the Trivantes is him. This indicates that Trovere is giving coal to this rebellious group.

According to Trovere, she would never turn on Harlan. She pays attention to what he said and informs him that some of her shipments actually go to the military.

After what happened at Greenhill Gap, they come to the conclusion that there is a possibility the military is collaborating with Tormada.

To resolve this issue and determine whether there really is a rogue gang, Trovere persuades Harlan to travel with her to Trivantes. If there is, they will then know their position.

Harlan and Trovere tell the Bank about the rogue faction

Trovere informs Harlan about the Nevla, or Bank. a politician who also loves his country. If there is a rebel faction, Trovere believes she will be the one to bring it to justice.

When Nevla first arrived, she thought Trovere had purchased the previous queen of Pensa; instead, it was Harlan. He tells Nevla about the rebel movement that is heading toward Pennsa and assures her that he is here to help.

He also cites Tormada, his cutting-edge weaponry, and their capacity to torture and level a whole structure.

Nevla does not agree with Harlan’s assertions, but Harlan is adamant that he is not blaming their country. He also brings up the military, who may have also been involved in this.

Nevla chose to speak with Trovere alone since she didn’t appreciate the way Harlan had described the Trivantes. Nevla informed Trovere that Tormada will address the Triangle the following day and pledged to conduct a covert investigation into this situation.

The Triangle falls down

The following day, Tormada appears before the Triangle and makes a show of his invented weaponry. He explains how they are made and what effect they might have on the battlefield.

The victory won by these weapons is described as swift and conclusive by Tormada. He goes on to say that he has created 200 guns of this type in total and is now working on creating more.

He urges the Triangle to use these weapons to eliminate their enemy as soon as possible and decisively. In particular, he is aware that his bombs can aid in the conquest of an entire kingdom, such as the Payan.

.
The councilman claims that these weapons actually belong to the realm and not Tormada.

Tormada, on the other hand, belonged to a different philosophical movement. Given that he is the only one who has control over them, he feels that he alone is the rightful owner of these weapons.

Nevla concurred with Tormada’s assessment that the empire was deteriorating due of the council’s efforts to placate the adversaries.

Then, when Trovere and Harlan flee with Tormada, the latter uses a bomb to demolish the council as a demonstration of his strength.

Trovere urges Harlan to join her

Harlan nearly escapes the council blast. Trovere decides to admit that this was their original intention as she pulls him to the bed. The new Triangle is made up of Trovere, Nevla, and Tormada.

Harlan was informed by Trovere that there was no other option and that this strategy has been in place since since the Greenhill Gap. The Triangle was corrupt, therefore they sought to replace it.

Regarding his involvement in this revolution, Harlan enquired. Trovere admitted that she loved him. After learning of the authority Tormada possessed in his hands, she didn’t want Harlan to perish in Pennsa.

She declared Paya to be done and handed him two options. He has the option of staying with her or returning to Pennsylvania.

Harlan, who was in charge of an army of Trivantes, ends the story by ambushing Baba Voss’ team of rescuers of Jerlamarel’s children.

Despite the treachery, it is still unclear whether Harlan has actually joined Trovere or whether he has another ulterior motivation. Hopefully, future episodes will shed more light on this.
