Numerous variables affect how well a movie does. After his parents passed away, Bruce Wayne’s (Christian Bale) legal guardian was Alfred, better known as Batman’s butler, played by Michael Caine. Later, he served as Bruce’s crime partner, assisting Bruce in becoming Batman.
True admirers of the role recognised that Alfred was more than just a mere butler, despite being reduced to that role in earlier movies. Alfred was a former member of the British Special Air Service, and Bruce used many of Alfred’s talents to help him keep Gotham City safe. The fact is that Batman would not exist without Alfred’s assistance. But mostly, Bruce saw Alfred as his father and the last remaining member of his real family. And he never intended for the person, who was essentially his son, to live this life.
Burnham in ‘Panic Room’
In search of some concealed money, Burnham (Forest Whitaker) and two companions enter a townhouse. As the mother and daughter are startled by the people inside, issues occur when they flee and hide in the panic room. the same space where the hidden funds are kept.
Burnham doesn’t mind breaking the law, but he has a limit when it comes to hurting people. After being reminded of why he is there, Burnham is persuaded to remain and to carry out the plan, and his tale is one of desperation. He needs the cash to pay the attorneys in a custody dispute over his kids. This fact makes it simple to care about this character, as does the fact that he won’t harm anyone.
Captain Edward John Smith in ‘Titanic’
Over a thousand people perished when the Titanic struck a sizable iceberg and sank during her first voyage. Edward John Smith, her captain, played by Bernard Hill, went down with her after understanding he was to fault for her death. Hit-Girl is not your typical girl because she was raised in a world of guns, knives, and warfare. Instead of wanting puppies or toys, she longs for a balisong knife. Hit-Girl enjoys taking out bad men in her superhero outfit with a checkered skirt, purple wig, and nasty language. But after her father is tragically slain, what was once a game becomes into a quest.
Inigo Montoya in ‘The Princess Bride’
Inigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin) witnessed his father being killed by a man with six fingers when he was a young lad. He made it his life’s work to track down the person who killed his father, and he is well prepared to tell him what happened when he does.
Inigo is first seen as one of the bad guys that abducted Buttercup, but he later develops into a savvy ally of Westley’s who aids him in storming the castle to rescue Buttercup. Inigo locates his father’s killer inside and challenges him to a duel with a sword. Having lost, the man begs Inigo for his life while making any concessions he desires. When Inigo realised the man couldn’t give him his father back, he subsequently killed him. It comes to a satisfying conclusion that is typical of those found in stories.
Luna Lovegood in ‘Harry Potter And The Order of The Phoenix’
Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch), a strange but endearing girl who will form an unexpected relationship with Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), is introduced in this Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) movie episode.
Luna, who doesn’t care what other people think of her, is teased by her classmates for being strange. The two become friends after Harry is shunned for asserting—contrary to popular belief—that Voldemort is back. He understands that Luna is not at all the crazy girl others think she is. Harry is impressed by Luna’s observations on Voldemort’s plan to isolate Harry so that he poses less of a threat. Thestrals, equine-like winged animals that can only be seen by those who have experienced death, are something that both she and Harry can see. Luna is a knowledgeable witch with unique insights on the supernatural world. She is, to use Harry’s words, “cool.”
Miss Minchin in ‘A Little Princess’ (1995)
The headmistress of a boarding school is Miss Maria Minchin (Eleanor Bron). Until a nice youngster named Sara (Liesel Matthews), who has a particularly vivid imagination, enrols at the school, her strict regulations are the law.
The film, which is based on the beloved book by Frances Hodgson Burnett, makes suggestions that Miss Minchin had a difficult upbringing that left her cruel. But beyond her icy appearance, she was filled with unsaid pain and rage. The most puzzling and intriguing part of Miss Minchin’s tale may be how her sister Amelia was the exact opposite of her. Her character is partly salvaged in the end. Miss Minchin, who had once mistreated a young boy, was now a chimney sweeper, dressed in rags and smeared in soot.
Norman Nordstrom in ‘Don’t Breathe’
For a living, Rocky (Jane Levy) and her pals burglar houses. When a group learns that a war veteran is keeping a large sum of cash hidden in his home, they plan to rob him, reasoning that since the man is blind, it will be simple.
When Rocky and Alex discover a small girl being held hostage in the basement, sympathy for Norman (Stephen Lang) changes to shock. Norman transforms from the helpless victim to the malicious adversary. The girl caused the vehicle accident that resulted in Norman’s daughter’s death, and she is now carrying a child for Norman to replace his deceased daughter. Rocky ultimately outsmarts Norman and flees with the stolen money. Norman’s continued refusal to report anything missing from his home to the police highlights the depth of his character.
Oda Mae Brown in ‘Ghost’
She earned a living by defrauding people who wanted to contact their deceased loved ones. The day Sam Wheat’s ghost (Patrick Swayze) discovers her, though, Oda Mae (Whoopi Goldberg) discovers she is psychic. She reluctantly assists Sam in tracking down his killer and defending his love, Molly (Demi Moore).
Why did Whoopi Goldberg receive an Oscar for her performance? Almost all of the scenes she was in were stolen by her. Even though the story is heartbreaking, it’s impossible to help but giggle at Oda Mae’s peculiar situation. She’s the only one who can hear Sam, and given her awful criminal record for defrauding people, it’s difficult to believe her. Although it’s simple to identify with Destiny’s personal circumstances, Ramona’s commanding presence throughout the movie (which is based on a true tale) draws the viewer’s focus to her. She is the coordinator, the mother figure, and the defender of every young protégé she uses in her complex scheme. It’s easy to root for Ramona and her hustlers despite the fact that their behaviour is against the law since Jennifer Lopez plays the part so brilliantly that she steals every scene she’s in.
