The tumultuous love triangle between Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari, and Lauren Conrad took up most of the first season of “Laguna Beach,” but there were numerous supporting characters who left a lasting effect on viewers. Talan Torriero was one of these cast members. Torriero was a well-known Lothario despite having the appearance of the young lad next door. Conrad revealed on the podcast “Back to the Beach with Stephen and Kristin” that she was hooking up with Torriero, despite MTV giving the impression that she was yearning about Colletti. “I’ll say it: this is awful. Although the second season of “Laguna Seaside” revealed that Talan Torriero wasn’t even a student, the show was about following the lives of high school kids who lived in their charming beach town. Torriero said in a TikTok video that he shattered his leg playing football during his final year. He made the decision to graduate early and relocate to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Hollywood after giving it considerable thought. Even Joe Simpson, a manager, was secured by the reality star. Torriero had to travel from Los Angeles to Laguna Beach to shoot his sequences in order to appear as though he was still in high school.
The career of Torriero in the entertainment industry was brief. He was supposed to co-host “Total Request Live” on MTV, but he declined because of partying (according to E! News). He might not have gotten a part in “The Hills” because of the no-show. Torriero disclosed “For a very long time, they were quite angry with me. I made a mistake by doing it. I was a new punk kid, and I had no idea better… I’m not sure if there was animosity between us and perhaps that’s why I wasn’t featured in any way on The Hills, not even as a guest, or if it was simply because my storyline was lacking.” If he had landed his “TRL” position, Torriero’s life would have taken a very different turn, but he has settled in well outside of Hollywood.
