Five Mexican students who were abducted are shown in a viral video being ruthlessly murdered by their captors, who are presumably members of a Mexican drug cartel.
Five Mexican students, aged 19 to 22, were killed and beaten in the viral video.
The young men were looking for private security job, met a contact in town, and weren’t seen again until the video leaked, said journalist Carlos Arrieta of El Universal.
The men were duped into accepting an employment offer by the Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) cartel, and when they refused, they were brutally murdered.
The internet-viral footage aided in the home’s discovery for the Mexican authorities. Before making a raid, they quickly checked the area for the young men.
Pictures posted online show a brick and concrete building with bloodstains on the ground, shoes scattered all over, and detectives prowling the area.
They searched the area and discovered four burned and beheaded victims inside the building.
The bodies are believed to be those of the August 11 kidnapped youngsters despite being severely burned. The body of the fifth youngster was found nearby inside a burned-out car.
The previous Zetas cartel kidnapped individuals in 2010, and those who refused to work for them were made to beat one another to death with sledgehammers. So this horrifying incident is not the first of its sort.

The other two suspects are identified as Roberto Olmeda Cuellar, 20, an industrial engineering major at the University of Guadalajara, and Uriel Galván González, 19, the younger of the two suspects and a passionate boxer and motorcyclist. Both men were killed in the attack.

Journalist Hector De Mauleon was told by witnesses. They were forced into a white pickup and a van with blacked-out windows by ten armed guys in San Miguel.
In a graphic video that was uploaded on social media, the five were seen on their knees, bleeding and hurt, with duct tape covering their lips.
In the footage, three victims are seen resting face down close to each other. One lies in the background while his friend beats, stabs, and decapitates him.
The Attorney General’s office learned where the alleged photo and video were taken on Wednesday, August 16, in the La Orilla del Agua neighborhood.
A few hours later, they found four burned bodies at a farm. They are now figuring out if the four bodies belong to the five missing kids.
On the road between Lagos de Moreno and Encarnacion Diaz on Monday morning, their tan Volkswagen Jetta caught fire.
