For all music enthusiasts out there, the American Music Awards 2022 were a joy to behold. The award ceremony for this year was held on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

For those of you who are unaware, let us inform you that the 2022 American Music Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the Microsoft Theater. ABC broadcast the award ceremony live.

A day later, you will be able to watch the American Music Awards 2022 on the streaming service Hulu. The event’s celebrity-studded lineup was hosted by Wayne Brady, a five-time Emmy Award winner.

Who was the big winner at American Music Awards 2022?

Taylor Swift was the night’s major prize, ladies and gentlemen. Including Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop Album and Favorite Country Album for Red (Taylor’s Version), Favorite Music Video for All Too Well (Taylor’s Version), Favorite Female Pop Artist, and last but not least Favorite Female Country Artist, the Snow On the Beach crooner won a total of six awards.

The 32-year-old pop artist explained that releasing songs frequently makes her happy while winning the Artist of the Year award. She also expressed her gratitude to her fans around the world for their unwavering support and affection.

The singer of Midnight Rain commented, “You know, I have released more songs in the last three years than I did in the entire decade before that. And I truly believe it is because my fans made it apparent that they wanted to hear a lot of the music I would create.

Swift continued, “You gave me confidence, and I discovered that the more music I produced and released, the happier I was. As a result, I kept that channel open and continued to create and make things. I basically owe my happiness to the fans, and I love you more than words can express, because the more things happened, the more you guys said, “Yay, keep doing it,” and the happier I was.

With 13 exclamation points, Taylor said, “I cannot convey how unbelievable it is to me that I still get to do this, and that people still care, so thank you.” I am at a loss for words. I cherish you.

Dove Cameron received the New Artist of the Year award, which she gave to the LGBTQ community. The awards for Favorite Male Pop Artist and Favorite Pop Song went to Harry Styles for As It Was.

Gun Machine The prize for Favorite Rock Artist went to Kelly. He wore a very spiky and pointed outfit to the awards ceremony. The prize for Favorite Female Latin Artist went to Brazilian singer Anitta. Favorite Male Country Artist went to Morgan Wallen.

The Just Give Me a Reason singer P!nk paid a special tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John, who played Sandy in the movie Grease and died earlier this year in August, during the celebrity-studded awards ceremony. At the awards ceremony, she performed the timeless Grease ballad Hopelessly Devoted to You, which affected the audience as well.

At the American Music Awards 2022, she was joined by Carrie Underwood, Imagine Dragons, Bebe Rexha, and GloRilla. The poignant tribute to the legendary singer-songwriter Lionel Richie was one of the most beautiful moments of the whole award event. At the programme, he received the Icon Award.

Stevie Wonder, the performer of That’s What Friends Are For, and Charlie Puth, a fan of Lionel Richie, both sang some of the iconic musician’s best-known songs, including Hello, Say You, Say Me, All Night Long, and Easy.
