Bam Margera’s Bail Set For $50k “Unsecured”
After the Pennsylvania State Police issued an arrest warrant for him earlier this week, “Jackass” actor Bam Margera turned himself in. He turned himself in in Avondale, where Judge Albert arraigned him in district court and set his bail at $50,000 “unsecured”.
Margera’s attorney Michael van der Veen declared in a statement that his client entered a not guilty plea. Families frequently argue with one another. Conflicts occur in every family. The media or the courts should not be used to resolve this conflict, according to van der Veen. The hearing for the reality star is scheduled for May 25 in Chester County.
According to court records, Bam Margera is accused of six offences, including simple assault, harassment, and four counts of making terroristic threats with the aim to frighten another person.
Why Was The Arrest Warrant Issued?
The “Jackass” star allegedly struck Jesse Margera in the face during a fight at their suburban Philadelphia home. The Pennsylvania State Police disclosed that they were hunting for Bam while announcing criminal charges.
According to court records, shortly before 11 a.m., a domestic disturbance was reported and police were called to the Chester County residence. Bam Margera “pounded and kicked his locker bedroom door, and hit him in the eye, nose, and ear,” according to Margera’s brother Jesse.
Bam, however, escaped the premises on foot through thick forests before the authorities could take him into custody. The problematic reality star has now turned himself up, and his $50,000 “unsecured” bail has been established.
The legal issues Bam Bam Margera is currently dealing with are not new. The television personality was detained in March after allegedly making a scene at a restaurant where his estranged wife and kid were dining after facing legal proceedings from his wife, Nicole Boyd.
According to the police, Bam Margera got into a heated confrontation with a woman while intoxicated in public. He was detained after engaging in a heated dispute with a woman while intoxicated in public. Bam Margera was then taken into custody and lodged for a misdemeanour public intoxication.
Margera has continued to be a disturbed guy despite several legal troubles, arrests, and frequent trips to rehab. A few months ago, Bam’s “Jackass” co-star Steve-O expressed concern that Bam would pass away from his drug consumption.
He claimed that Bam got “loaded” in one of his comedy acts in an Instagram comment that has since been deleted. Additionally, he said that he had been “prepared for the news” of Bam’s untimely passing. Bam’s court appearance in the ongoing case is set for May 25, 2023.
