The best ninja in movies could be any number of people. This list will award bonus points to ninjas who exhibit amazing skill, speed, and strength accomplishments due to the intense competition. A ninja master should be able to manage at least that much.
Batman – Batman Ninja (2018)
You must be unaware that Batman is a ninja. In the 2018 movie Batman Ninja, he had his opportunity. In the Junpei Mizusaki movie, Batman had to endure feudal Japan. Batman must confront the Joker and Gotham’s top criminals who have taken control of several feudal clans while setting up his new Batcave in Edo, Japan. By mastering the katana and ninja techniques throughout the film, Batman fulfills the prophecy of the “bat ninja.” By catching and breaking ninja swords, he demonstrates his ninja abilities. He was also adept at scaling Joker’s castle and fusing contemporary methods with traditional Japanese ninja ones.
Casey Bowman – Ninja
Casey Bowman did not grow up in a conventional family, unlike many of the other ninjas on this list. He wasn’t some supernatural ninja fighter; rather, his father was an alcoholic. When he was 12 years old, his father passed away, and he ended up living in a Japanese dojo where he studied ninja techniques. He eventually rose to the position of top pupil and embarked on a course of vengeance for the murder of Namiko, the daughter of his teacher, in New York. Casey’s ninja training enables him to battle many gangs of criminals at once and dispatch street-level opponents with a single punch. He can sever someone’s hand with a single knife cut and has the strength to snap someone’s neck.
Elektra – Elektra (2005)
Elektra embodies the ninjas on this list who are more mystical in nature. Stick, a master of martial arts, revived her, and she underwent his rigorous instruction. The mysterious abilities she develops during the movie serve to strengthen this training even further. Elektra possesses super speed in addition to her proficiency with ninja weapons and ninjitsu, which allows her to move so quickly that regular people have trouble seeing her. She can speak telepathically and see people and objects quite far away thanks to her access to mystical ninja abilities. Elektra should have been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, thus it’s a shame her movie came out sooner.
Jubei Kibagami – Ninja Scroll (1993)
The ideal wandering ninja is Jubei Kibagami. He still upholds his morals and code of conduct despite having a tragic and traumatic history. He is self-employed and, in contrast to many others on this list, is not hell-bent on exacting revenge. Although he likes a good joke and is a laid-back ninja, he is brutal to those who would take advantage of others.
Jubei doesn’t have any mysterious ninja abilities. He’s practiced using a sword so much, though, that he can actually cut through air. He can now control the wind to slice his opponents thanks to this. He is an unsurpassed skilled swordsman with a keen tactical mind. Jubei has also mastered the wire arts, which enable him to attack his adversaries without being disarmed. Many of the ninjas on this list were inspired by eastern ninja clichés while being impacted by western ninja stereotypes. Yoshiaki Kawajari, the director of Ninja Scroll, revealed to the show’s viewers that Jubei was greatly influenced by American television westerns.
Kyo the Enforcer – The Octagon (1980)
Kyo is a mute ninja dressed in a stunning ninja uniform. At the Seikura training camp, he serves as the main enforcer. In the movie, Kyo confronts the real Chuck Norris, making him one of the most powerful martial artists alive. According to interviews with the film’s creators conducted by The Octagon, the actors had to practice that fight scene for more than a month. It’s challenging to overcome his ability to intimidate others without speaking. Kyo displays his ninjutsu training and sword skills in the fight scenes of the movie with deadly effectiveness. He can battle with the strongest martial artists and dispatch entire bands of ninjas by combining ninja weapons.
Leonardo – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
Leonardo, the TMNT’s captain, has an excellent background as a ninja. He routinely outperforms the other turtles in terms of competence, and in many iterations, he devotes more time to individual training to hone those skills. Hamato Yoshi, alias “Splinter,” Leonardo’s mentor, introduced him to a real NIjitsu instructor. Leonardo is the finest fighter among his brothers and has performed numerous amazing ninja feats. These accomplishments include restraining enormous robots with just his hands, running so quickly that he appears to be a blur, and dodging laser beams. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from 1990 may be the best ninja movie ever made.
Lloyd Garmadon – The LEGO Ninjago Movie (2017)
Despite his plastic appearance, this LEGO ninja is far more skilled than it appears. He was not only Lord Garmadon’s son, but also the green ninja who was to slay the villain. Together with the Ninjago elemental masters, he created a team. He had several adventures where he vanquished strong bad spirits, the dragon mother, and even his own father. Lloyd has developed his own kind of ninjitsu called spinjitzu that enables him to use all the elements of nature with ease. He is seen controlling earth, fire, lightning, and ice with spinjitzu skills. Additionally, he obtains access to creation skills that give him the ability to move mountains and control the weather.
Nanashi – Sword of the Stranger (2007)
Former samurai turned ninja Nanashi has lost both his name and his memory of his past. “Nanashi” means “no name” or “nameless” in Japanese. He carried out numerous atrocities while serving successive Japanese warlords. He now promises not to use his sword and settles disputes more diplomatically. Nanashi fights covertly, using his scabbard and brute might to overwhelm his adversaries. He prefers to slice people with a sword while knocking them out or breaking their arms.
Scorpion – Mortal Kombat (2021)
Hanzo Hasashi, often known as Scorpion, is a formidable opponent. He was raised in the Shirai Ryu clan and eventually married and had a child. But one day, ninjas from a rival clan killed Hanzo’s entire family, and everything changed. Hanzo made an attempt to exact retribution but was killed and cast into the nether world. His desire for vengeance grew to such an extreme level that he was resurrected as the solely vengeful spirit known as Scorpion.
In his more than 400 years of existence, he has learned almost all of the ninja arts and is widely regarded as the best ninja to ever walk the earth. He has the power to control hellfire, which significantly improves his ninja abilities. He can teleport and repair physical harm thanks to his link to the nether world. All of us are expecting that Scorpion will keep showing up in upcoming Mortal Kombat sequels.
Snake Eyes – G.I. Joe (2009)
One of the best soldiers in G.I. Joe and a real ninja master is Snake Eyes. He was the first commando among the founding members and taught close-quarters warfare to every soldier. He was such a well-liked figure that he even received his own Snake Eyes film. He is a master of stealth and has defeated ninja opponents while blindfolded. He was able to sneak inside Cobra Commander’s bedroom and assassinate any guards standing in his way. Snake Eyes can outrun heavy machine gun fire, leap between fast cars, and slay enormous crocodiles. He’s been spotted kicking sculptures to pieces and surviving chopper crashes.
