BreAnne Lafleur, who coaches NFL clubs including the Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, and Green Bay Packers, apparently isn’t as well-known as her husband, Matt LaFleur.
The former pharmaceutical salesman has always supported LaFleur as he develops his coaching career throughout the years. She is also the mother of two children, Ty and Luke, in addition to this.
Facts About BreAnne LaFleur, Matt Lafleur’s Wife
Her Early Life and Background
On July 2, 1983, BreAnne Maak was born. Along with her sister, Balie Maak McKenzie, she was trained by her parents, Maak Wener and Jane Marie Maak.
BreAnne was born and raised in Michigan, where she attended Marcellus High School and received her diploma in 2002. She continued on to Central Michigan University from there, where she earned a degree in physical therapy.
How She Met and Married Matt LaFleur
Breanne and Matt met while they were both students at Central Michigan University in 2004. As previously noted, she was studying physical therapy, while Matt was pursuing physical education.
He left a terrible impact on her the day they first met, making it an interesting encounter. While Matt maintains he doesn’t recall the encounter, she insisted that he yelled at her during a practise. It is unclear when they began dating after this event.
They naturally became buddies after realising they were both in love with one another. When BreAnna and Matt got married sometime in the middle of the 2000s, they shifted their relationship.
BreAnne LaFleur is a Mother of Two Children
Luke, who is six years old, and Ty, who is four years old, are Breanne’s two children with her husband. Her spouse adores his kids and would do anything to include them in all of his activities, including games and press appearances.
Ty, his youngest kid, started to sob as he watched his father break down in tears during a press conference while discussing his family.
Matt Fleur’s Wife Sacrificed her Job for her Family
In 2007, Breanne LaFleur worked in Ohio for a pharmaceutical firm. But once her husband, Matt, received a coaching position offer from Northern Michigan, she made the difficult choice to choose her family above her profession.
She subsequently gave up her work to support him and assist him in achieving his sporting goals.
BreAnne and her family have made numerous cross-country moves as a result of her husband’s line of work. They left places including Houston, Texas, Ashland, Marquette, and Michigan among others.
Although such difficulties are common in the sporting world, her sacrifice is noteworthy.
It is hardly unexpected that her husband broke down in tears during his first press conference as the Packers’ head coach after mentioning her sacrifice to his family. He acknowledged his wife as the family’s rock and that he was “all in for the family.”
When he saw how emotional his father was, his kid, who also understood the nature of his father’s profession, started crying as well.
She Married into a Sport Family
BreAnne has other ties to the sporting community in addition to her marriage to Matt. The parents and brother of her husband are all avid athletes.
His mother Kristi used to be a cheerleader, while his father Denny played linebacker for Central Michigan. Later, from the 1990s to the 2000s until their retirement in 2015, the two worked at Mount Pleasant High School as physical education instructors and coaches.
It’s interesting to note that her husband’s aptitude for coaching is not unique to him alone; in the 1960s and 1970s, her husband’s grandfather, Bob Barringer, coached football for nine seasons at Kalamazoo, Michigan’s Loy Norrix High School.
When Bob passed away in 2010, it was said that he was a tough coach who constantly pushed his players to succeed.
Additionally, Mike LaFleur, the younger brother of her husband, coaches in the NFL, making them one of the few families with coaches in the league. Since 2021, Mike has worked with the New York Jets as their offensive coordinator.
In the Packers vs. Jets age in October 2022, the brothers squared off against one another’s team. Both brothers have remained close despite the match being eagerly anticipated because it was just another professional event.
Denny and Kristi are adored and respected by BreAnne and her spouse. Her husband claims he was inspired and shown love by watching his parents coach and mentor students in the high school where they had previously worked by telling them how much they believed in them and how much they wanted them to succeed. He saw them improve the lives of those students, according to her husband.
Her Husband is One of The Youngest Coaches To Ever Lead the Packers
BreAnne’s spouse was just 39 years old when the Packers offered him the job of head coach. He also broke the record for being the team’s youngest coach since Curly Lambeau thanks to the offer.
Notably, his family members thought it was a miracle that he acquired the position the way he did.
He is not the NFL’s youngest coach, despite his position with the Packers. Sean McVay of the Los Angeles Rams, who was hired in 2017 at the age of 30, now holds that post.
BreAnne LaFleur’s Net Worth
BreAnn’s net worth is unknown right now—possibly because she left her position as a pharmaceutical salesperson to care for her family—but her husband Matt, who recently signed with the Packers, has a $7 million net worth.
