Given that Britney Spears has complete control over how she manages her social media accounts, many of her posts feature sassy body moments, occasionally candid dancing moments, or stunning holiday photographs with her partner Sam Asghari. Ms. Spears released a number of naked images this week, but most people appear to be focusing on a clear Photoshop flaw in the image.
In the most recent images, Britney Spears may be seen in both technicolour and black and white. She also strategically inserted certain emojis to comply with Instagram rules. Whatever the case, neither the emoji placement nor anything else appears to be truly grabbing the public’s attention. It appears to be the curved door instead. Look at this.

Many admirers and friends responded with fire emojis and witty remarks like “free body,” but some observers couldn’t get past that door curve, a common sign that Photoshop has been used to enhance someone’s look in a photograph.
One reader blatantly stated, “Nice photoshop lmao the door by her stomach is curved out,” pointing out that the door appears to curve just where Ms. Spears may be trying to ensure that her tummy looks its best. (Actually, if you notice, the door does appear to change from a straight to a rounded line there.) One commenter agreed, saying “it is curved,” and added a door emoji. Other commenters said, “I adore your curvy door.” Another third wrote, “I’ve always been interested by doors that don’t create a perfect rectangle,” in an amusingly out-of-the-box style. It feels really Picasso-like.
This is not an experience that only the singer of “Sometimes” has encountered; other celebrities who use social media frequently also get criticised for Photoshopping. The Kardashians were involved in a protracted Photoshop dispute that lasted for a long after it was claimed that they had placed True Thompson’s head on another child while at Disneyland. In one case, the allegations were proven to be entirely accurate, forcing Khloé and the other Kardashians to own up to their involvement. A minor stomach adjustment pales in comparison to that uproar, and this isn’t the first time the Kardashians have engaged in photo-editing mischief.
On Instagram, Britney Spears called out the haters who had previously accused her of using photoshop. Another photograph from a while back that attracted comments had what appeared to be a curved tub, but Spears quickly clarified that “the tub is curved” to allay any suspicions of photo-editing. She thereby prevented a discourse about photo altering in that instance.
However, doors don’t generally curve exactly in the middle, so I’m ready to wager that some photographic magic was employed here. However, it hardly registers at all.
