Since the summer of 2022, the “See You Again” singer has been linked to Brooke Sansone, a family friend. On his 31st birthday, he confirmed their relationship on Instagram. Puth made a reference to his song “Loser” by writing, “Ohhhhh I’m NOT a loser…’cause I didn’t lose her!!! (Happy birthday to me)” next to a bunch of cute photo booth pictures of the two of them.
Sansone replied to the post, “It’s National Charlie Day!” and shared the photos on her Instagram Story with the simple caption, “birthday boy @charlieputh.”
Puth hasn’t talked about Sansone directly yet, but in October 2022, the Grammy-nominated musician told Howard Stern that he was “with someone” and “definitely” in love.
At Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala in Los Angeles in February 2023, the couple walked the red carpet for the first time. Sansone looked great in a black dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves, and Puth looked great in a white blazer and red rose-print pants.

Both Puth and Sansone are from New Jersey, and their families grew up together, as Puth said on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show in October 2022.
“She’s someone I grew up with,” he said, adding that it’s “nice” to have someone by his side who he’s known for a “long time,” given how crazy his job is. Puth went on, “She’s always been very, very nice to me.” “I would assume that she would be there for me when things get hard in the future, because what is life without ups and downs?”
In July 2022, Sansone posted pictures on Instagram of her family and Puth’s family hanging out on “the cape.” In one photo, she and Puth are standing next to each other and smiling while other family members stand on both sides of them.

Before that, she was the social media marketing manager at Hyer Home in Charleston, South Carolina, where she also did a marketing internship while she was still in college.

Sansone works in marketing, but she is also very interested in fashion. She runs an Instagram account called The Closet Next Door, which has outfits and looks for different styles that she has picked out.
