According to San Diego police, Russo was discovered lifeless on the floor of her friend’s house on March 5. The first responders then made “aggressive attempts at resuscitation” before calling the emergency services. The reality star, however, was unable to be saved and was soon declared dead.
A drug paraphernalia was reportedly discovered close to her body. Examining the cause of death is ongoing. The case is currently being looked into by the San Diego police department. Leo Wolf, the son Russo had with her ex-boyfriend Pierre-Luc Gagnon, is left behind.
Russo Shot to Fame with The X-Life in 2011
Along with her then-boyfriend Pierre-Luc, a professional skateboarder, Russo took part in VH1’s The X-Life in 2011. The show, which tracked the lives of sports athletes and their partners, had three contestants, including the pair. After having a son together, the couple split up.
Susie Stenberg, a friend of Russo’s, has disclosed that the reality star had been homeless and living in her car for a while. The night before her passing, Stenberg spoke on the phone with Russo, who declared her love for her. Stenberg informed the journalists that Denise was the most devoted and faithful person.
The Reality Star Participated in an Ink Magazine Cover Model Competition Recently

Denise added that she would use the $25,000 cash award to “create a foundation to reunite with my son” if she were to win the contest.
