We were able to persuade the lady who acts in all of our guilty pleasure popping videos to open up (a bit!) about her life in the background, despite the fact that very little is known about her. She works at Skin Doctors and Surgeons, the couple’s private business, alongside her husband, Dr Jeffrey Rebish.
The couple also has 17- and 18-year-old Irish twin sons. She continues, “My elder child is saying, ‘I can’t look at this stuff,’ and I understand, it’s OK, I accept that. It sounds more like Dr. Pimple Popper’s children keep her in check than anything else.
She continued, “I once told them, ‘You know, your mom’s a YouTuber. “Mom, you’re not a YouTuber, they said. You aren’t. Don’t even say that, please.”
Dr. Pimple Popper catapulted to fame in 2014.
She was a regular person blogging about her daily life on social media in 2014, over ten years ago. But her daily routine consisted of protracted extractions of engorged cysts, zits, and blackheads. And soon, everyone on the internet was interested.
In an exclusive interview with Distractify, she remarked, “Very early on, I happened to share a blackhead extraction.” “I had a discernible boost in attention. Folks were liking it and tagging their friends in comments, so I tried it again, and the same thing happened. After deciding to upload a whole video on YouTube, I noticed other videos there and wondered, “Who are these people?””
Dr. Pimple Popper ascended through the ranks fast and earned the reputation as the go-to person for curiously gratifying popping videos. Her films quickly began to make a tonne of money, and the doctor quickly gained notoriety.
