Dr. Stone Season 3 Trailer Reveals The Wait Is Longer But Worth It

The brand-new Dr. STONE Season 3 teaser was one of the major announcements made at Jump Festa 22. In addition to hinting at impending conflicts, this teaser also provided a release date for the upcoming season and a date for the upcoming special, Dr. STONE Special Episode – RYUSUI.

Senku Ishigami, a youngster who was awakened from a 3,700-year nap after all of humanity had been transformed to stone, is the protagonist of the anime. Together with his companion Taiju Oki, who also awoke from his stone slumber at the same time, Senku will attempt to reconstruct the planet. According to Crunchyroll, the television show spans two million years of scientific history, from the Stone Age to the present. The show is based on a manga about science that Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi wrote and illustrated.

The most recent trailer revealed a release date for both the second season as well as the special episode, RYUSUI. For the same-named special, Ryusui Nanami will be voiced by Ryota Suzuki. Senku and Kohaku are voiced in the anime by Yƻsuke Kobayashi and Manami Numakura, respectively.

TMS Entertainment is the animator behind Dr. STONE. There were 24 episodes in the 24-episode season that debuted in 2019. The second season included 11 episodes and debuted in 2021. Based on a manga that appears in Weekly Shonen Jump, the show. The American channel Toonami, which is a part of Adult Swim, broadcasts the series in English dubs under a licence from Crunchyroll and Funimation.

The third season will begin airing in 2023, and the Dr. STONE Special Episode – RYUSUI will debut somewhere in the summer of 2022. They’ll be accessible through Crunchyroll.
