Happy Potter Franchise To Get It’s First Series On MAX (HBO MAX)

In recent years, Warner Bros. has struggled to discover methods to extend the Harry Potter series past J.K. Rowling’s initial seven volumes. Fans still adore the Wizarding World and the Hogwarts and Harry Potter milieu, despite the fact that interest in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movies has continued to decline.

Max (also known as The Streaming Service Previously Known as HBO Max) intends to carry out this action. Warner Bros. revealed plans for a scripted TV series based on Rowling’s Harry Potter books as part of the grand debut of this new (or newish) Max service.

“The stories from each of Rowling’s Harry Potter books will become a decade-long series produced with the same epic craft, passion, and care this worldwide franchise is known for,” according to the official press release. Also, it states that “a fresh cast” will be on the programme, which implies a new Harry Potter. ( What does Daniel Radcliffe think about that, in your opinion? Jealousy? Or profound relief?

Each season of the television series, according to Max, “will be true to the original books and introduce Harry Potter and these extraordinary adventures to new audiences around the world, while the original, classic, and beloved films will remain at the core of the franchise and be accessible worldwide.” In other words, you can continue to watch both the new show and the older films. Or at least, they expect you to act in that way.

One can only assume that each novel will be turned into a unique season of an ongoing TV programme. If such a programme was successful, it might become Max’s main programming for a very long time. Of course, it’s a risky strategy as well. A Harry Potter TV series won’t be cheap, and if viewers think it falls short of the calibre of the original films, they may quit tuning in. Muggles are renowned for being demanding.
