On the CBS serial opera “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Hunter Tylo gained notoriety as Dr. Taylor Hayes, a sympathetic psychiatrist and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) true love. The actress has previously appeared in various soap operas. According to IMDb, she played Robin McCall on ABC’s “All My Children” from 1985 to 1988 and Marina Toscano on “Days of Our Lives” for a year prior to the premiere of “B&B.” Fans, however, associate her with the frightened yet strong Taylor, a role she created in 1990.
The “B&B” fandom was therefore shocked when the CBS soap drama brought Taylor back and replaced Tylo with fellow soap actress Krista Allen in December of 2021. (per Entertainment Tonight). Viewers were in for a surprising shock when another woman into Taylor’s shoes because Tylo had last played Taylor in 2019. Why doesn’t Hunter Tylo play Taylor on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and where is her when she should be?
Tylo turned down CBS’ offer
According to Entertainment Weekly, CBS reportedly tried to persuade Hunter Tylo to resume her role as Taylor but was unsuccessful. Tylo refused their requirements, therefore the show’s creators decided to look elsewhere for a replacement. Tylo has declined CBS’ offer, therefore it appears that Allen will remain on the show. Characters on the programme mentioned Taylor’s missionary trip while she was off-screen, according to TVLine. Her enduring battle for Ridge with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was occasionally alluded to, as were her children Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
