He has inked many deals for upcoming productions since the show’s anticipated debut, one of which will be Fingernails, the most recent Apple TV+ offering.
After making his television debut on Conviction, he has appeared in films and popular, long-running television series alongside some notable performers. They have also placed him in positions where he has provided some very dramatic and tense moments.
After Everything depicts the unusual love tale of Elliot and Mia in New York when one of them receives a disease that alters their lives forever and was published in 2018 after its premiere at SXSW. But, despite the bad news, this is not the only challenge these young lovers must overcome.
Elliot, who has the appearance of being carefree, is a role that Jeremy Allen White has never played before since his life becomes complicated and his love grows as his body deteriorates. His character stood out from the rest of the ensemble because of the drama and anguish he experienced.
Afterschool (2008) – 6.0
Director Antonio Campos’ film, which had its world premiere at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, was about a boy named Robert who sees two classmates at his private school die from drugs they were given from outside the institution. Some students form new relationships in the most unlikely areas as a result of the paranoia that pervades the classes.
One of Robert’s roommates named Dave, played by Jeremy Allen White, is depicted having fun with his friends and being outgoing in contrast to the reclusive David. Although it may not have been his most remembered performance, this smaller-budget production opened the door for him to work on more expensive shows and films.
Conviction (2006) – 6.9
Stephanie March reprises her role as Alexandra Cabot on Conviction, which is set in the same universe as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and pairs up with some new faces.
Jeremy White, who played Jack Phelps in the episode “Deliverance,” was among the talented actors who were showcased, despite the show only having one season. Although the show and his role are insignificant in comparison to how his career has developed over the years, Law & Order fans continue to give the series a high rating on IMDb.
Homecoming (2018 – 2020) – 7.4
A star-studded ensemble, lead by Julia Roberts, one of Amazon Prime Video’s biggest 2018 releases, plays a former social worker for a facility that aids troops in reintegrating into civilian life. In one of Prime Videos’ finest TV series, however, not all is as it seems because the company running the facility has a sinister motive.
In the first season, he appeared frequently as Shrier, a former soldier, and his performance and the role added mystery and drama to the already outstanding show and its actors. Even though he didn’t stick around for the second season, he had a lasting and important impression in a supporting capacity.
Law & Order (1990 – ) – 7.8
The story of various police officers in New York as they attempt to solve each episode’s case is told in one of the longest-running police procedural shows of all time, Law & Order. Rob The Mob (2014) – 6.3
The narrative of Tommy Uva and his partner, Rosie DeToma, who stole a number of Mafia-run social clubs was told in one of the best true-life films, Rob The Mob. Tommy has a personal grudge against them because his father borrowed money from them, so he wants to make amends with his family and their community.
Jeremy Allen White, who plays Bobby, Tommy’s younger brother, doesn’t feature all that frequently in the film, but his brief appearance stood out because he and Michael Pitt portrayed opposing personalities while being one another’s brothers. Bobby expresses his position as the middle child between his mother and older brother while picking up the pieces for his family, something the actor can deliver on.
Shameless (U.S.) (2011 – 2021) – 8.6
The American adaptation of Shameless, which was adapted from the British comedy series of the same name, told a dramatic tale about Frank Gallagher and his dysfunctional and impoverished family as they encountered many escapades. The focus, however, was on his kids because they had to take care of one another while their absentee father battled alcoholism.
Lip, who portrayed the role of the Gallagher family’s eldest son, was a bright kid who struggled to finish school in order to improve his situation in life. White was able to develop into his most recognisable character, one who captivated the hearts of many viewers of the series, even as his character became a parent and attempted to be a better man than Frank ever would be.
The Bear (2022 – ) – 8.5
The Bear, which debuted earlier this summer, has gained popularity to the point where a second season has been renewed. After his brother dies, a chef with experience in fine dining seeks to make his brother’s sandwich restaurant in Chicago into a lucrative and prosperous enterprise.
White, who plays the major character Carmen Berzatto, is one of his most complex and likeable actors thanks to his frustrated and direct approach. This performance and character arc, in one of the best FX series on Hulu, features Jeremy Allen White dealing with a lot of personal issues while also growing close to a group of cooks who don’t click with him at first.
The Speed Of Life (2007) – 7.2
This independent film, which was released in 2007, presented the tale of a young man named Sammy who steals video cameras from visitors in New York and revels in exploring his fantasies with the footage he discovers in the taken property. For someone so young, his character has a lot of drama to deal with, which made this movie stand out.
Young Jeremy Allen White was able to give Sammy a lot of depth in one of his first significant roles, something that not many actors his age can do. Together with the youthful and experienced cast members, he promoted the film and helped it gain acceptance into festivals.
