Is Micheal B Jordan In The New Black Panther Movie?

Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever spoilers are present in this article.

While we can all anticipate several fantastic MCU cameos in Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, one that we might not anticipate is Michael B. Jordan’s portrayal of the deceased Killmonger. He was undoubtedly one of the most enduring elements of the first Black Panther, and one thing we can all recall about him is that he passed away at the conclusion. Thus, it is extremely improbable that he will come back.

But if Chadwick Boseman’s untimely death has taught us anything, it’s that individuals who pass away are never truly gone because of their legacy. It seems to reason that Killmonger’s legacy would have the same impact on Wakandans as Chadwick’s has on the MCU as a whole. Is Michael a part of Wakanda Forever in Black Panther 2? For all the information, keep reading.

Is Michael B. Jordan is in ‘Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever’?

Michael does appear as Killmonger in the Black Panther 2 sequel, which is unexpected. In essence, as she prepares to visit the Ancestral Plane, Shuri (Letitia Wright) tests the counterfeit plant she makes to imitate the abilities of the heart-shaped herb on herself. T’Challa first travels to the Ancestral Plane in Black Panther to visit his father, T’Chaka, and other ancestors of Black Panthers.

So it only seems sense that Shuri thinks her journey to the Ancestral Plane will bring her closer to her late brother, T’Challa. She instead runs into Killmonger. Why? Her psychological conflict over getting back with Namor for killing her mother coincides more with Killmonger’s vengeful outlook than with T’Challa’s peaceful attitude.

While Shuri assumes the role of the Black Panther in order to get revenge on Namor, T’Challa does it in order to serve as the country’s protector. She eventually finds Killmonger, who sought his own retribution against T’Challa for what occurred between their fathers. In case you forgot, T’Chaka, T’Challa’s father, killed Prince N’Jobu, the father of Killmonger. The cousins engaged in a lifetime competition as a result, and eventually, only one could survive as the legitimate heir to the throne.

T’Challa may have fought Killmonger in the first Black Panther movie, but he ultimately perished from his own battles, casting doubt on who the real Black Panther is. Of course, Killmonger is an ancestor because he is a blood related of Shuri. Because she needs someone who can relate to her drive for vengeance, Shuri sees him in the Ancestral Plane.

Will she give in to retaliation? Or will Killmonger’s ghost terrify her into finding a compromise?
