Mila Kunis opens up on her Ukrainian roots and Russian invasion
She stated, “I very much have always felt like an American,” in an interview with Maria Shriver for the journalist’s “Conversations Above the Noise.” Oh, you’re very Eastern European, somebody said. I thought, “I’m so L.A. Why do you say that? I have always been like L.A. in every way. Then, this occurs. Mind you, Ash and I visited [President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy just before COVID because we have friends there. Despite having been there, I have always viewed myself as primarily American.
Kunis continued, “I don’t think we need to view the Russian people as our enemies. I truly do want to stress that. That isn’t stated in the media nearly enough, in my opinion.
