Nobody rattled the Hollywood box office as persistently as Sylvester Stallone, and that is not an exaggeration. He may not be the performer with the highest lifetime earnings, but he is the first actor in Hollywood history to have starred in the top-grossing movie for six straight decades. With his popular and influential picture “Rocky” and the character Rocky Balboa, he revolutionised the rules of sports films. Stallone started the ‘Rambo’ film series, in which he plays the PTSD-afflicted soldier John Rambo, after the ‘Rocky’ films had achieved everything they could. Along with his co-star and opponent Arnold Schwarzenegger, the actor established himself as one of the faces of the action genre through films like “Cobra,” “Tango & Cash,” “Cliffhanger,” “Demolition Man,” and “The Specialist.”
Even after reaching the end of his career, Stallone continued to give outstanding performances. The ‘The Expendables’ movie series was started by the actor, who is in his mid-60s, in 2010 with a cast of actors who have been dominating the action genre. The actor subsequently turned the role over to Michael B. Jordan by playing a supporting role in the first ‘Rocky’ movie spinoff, ‘Creed,’ only to receive an Academy Award nod for his work in the movie. Stallone never ceases to dazzle the audience with great performances, leaving one to wonder what the actor will do next. Let’s find out, then!
The 1993 action movie “Cliffhanger,” starring Sylvester Stallone, is currently getting a “legacy sequel.” The main character of the first movie is Ranger Gabriel “Gabe” Walker, a mountain climber who tries to aid a plane crash’s survivors. Ric Roman Waugh, famed for helming the Gerard Butler-starring films “Greenland,” “Angel Has Fallen,” and “Kandahar,” is in charge of the sequel. Years after the events of the first movie, Italian Alps, a mountaineering firm owned by Gabe and his daughter and “pseudo son,” is preparing to release a sequel. “A catastrophe occurs that is remarkably similar to what occurred in the first film, so the father and daughter must deal with it and learn how to go past it. How do we overcome difficult situations and struggle to go on?” Waugh discussed the movie with Collider.
The ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike may end before the movie’s production gets underway. It will be filmed in “the Dolomites and other places in Europe,” according to Waugh. The movie’s producer is Stallone as well.

The ongoing WGA strike is currently having an impact on the production of the second season. “The WGA strike is undoubtedly having an impact on our work because we are unable to advance many projects, like Tulsa King. But I believe that the writers do have a major complaint because of how much it has altered. They are upset that it has altered. Stallone told Newsweek that there isn’t enough employment to support all of these writers. We can anticipate the second season of the series to premiere on Paramount+ towards the end of 2024, if the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes are resolved sooner rather than later.
