Thanks to its extremely chaotic fourth and final season, On My Block has officially come to an end, but Freeridge isn’t going anywhere just yet. With a new cast of characters, Netflix has already revealed a spin-off series with the same name as the town we’ve come to love. What can we anticipate from this show, though? So, wait, there’s more On My Block coming?
Kind of! Currently, it appears like the programme is moving forward with a wholly original spin-off cast, which means that unlike On My Block, our favourite characters won’t always be in the spotlight. But as we’ve seen, individuals consistently appear to return home for a number of reasons. There’s still a potential that our favourite members of the original cast will make a cameo, despite the new leading cast.
Who is starring in the On My Block spin-off?
A new Core Four was seen peering into the massive party at the conclusion of the On My Block finale, giving us a small glimpse:

What is the new show going to be about?

The adventures of Freeridge are continued in this On My Block spinoff, according to Netflix, “following a fresh band of pals who may or may not have unleashed a fatal curse launching an epic journey.”
The original series’ co-creators and co-showrunners, Jamie Uyeshiro, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft, will return to oversee it. They also provided additional information on Freeridge:
