The ‘Pryce Cahill’ series on Apple TV+ will start filming in September. The main setting of the series is Los Angeles, California. The series centres on Pryce Cahill, an experienced professional golfer who is no longer at the top of his game and is portrayed by Academy Award contender Owen Wilson. His life changes when he mentors Sanjay, a golf prodigy who is 17 years old.
Despite having a production schedule in place, the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes may cause the series’ filming to be delayed. The series’ creator, writer(s), and director(s) have not yet been disclosed by Apple TV+. Through his production business Propagate, Ben Silverman, the renowned producer of hit television programmes including “The Office,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Charmed,” etc., serves as the series’ producer. ‘The Tudors,’ ‘Ugly Betty,’ ‘The Biggest Loser,’ etc. are some of Silverman’s other credits.
In addition to Rosario Dawson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Winona Ryder, Jared Leto, Danny DeVito, etc., Wilson recently wrapped up production for Justin Simien’s horror comedy “Haunted Mansion.” Alongside Woody Harrelson, he joined the cast of Brantley Gutierrez’s “Lips Like Sugar.” In California’s Riverside County and San Bernardino, the movie will be shot. The second season of the superhero cartoon “Loki” on Disney+ is also one of his planned projects.
Recent credits for Wilson include Mobius in “Loki,” Lightning McQueen from “Cars on the Road,” Carl from “Paint,” and more Greg Wittle in “Bliss,” Jack in “Secret Headquarters,” Charlie in “Marry Me,” Herbsaint Sazerac in Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch,” etc. Sanjay’s formal casting has not yet been revealed in an official statement. We can anticipate the show adding more cast members in the following months.
principal place As usual, Los Angeles is bustling with movie and television productions. In addition to “Pryce Cahill,” the City of Angels will also serve as the filming location for “Lords of War,” the follow-up to Nicolas Cage’s “Lord of War,” and “The Black Kaiser,” starring Mads Mikkelsen.
