Actress Park Soo Ryun from South Korea passed away at the age of 29 after falling down some steps on her way home.
She went unexpectedly on June 11, the day after her scheduled performance in Jeju Island.
She was taken right away to a nearby hospital for quick care.
Unfortunately, after repeated attempts to revive her, she was ultimately determined to be brain dead.
The heartwarming statement that Park’s organs would be donated to those in need was made by her family in remembrance of her memory and her generous spirit.
Park’s mother reportedly said, “Although her brain is unconscious, her heart is still beating,” in an interview with the news outlet Soompi.
