Thank goodness Ralf Little has said he will return for another season.
The actor from Two Pints of Larger and a Packet of Crisps tweeted: “We appreciate everyone who watched the 11th season of Death in Paradise. It gives me great pleasure to confirm that I will be returning to Saint Marie for series 12. It is an honour to portray Neville and serve as the show’s executive producer.”
On the show, Ralf obviously portrays Detective Inspector Neville Parker, but back in 2013, he played a different, one-off role. And although the show often has a very stringent guideline, he was fortunate to earn the role of Neville.
I’m the only actor to have been in Death in Paradise twice, he claimed, adding that he had appeared as a guest in series 2. “They genuinely try to avoid doing that, but they did it this time. Fortunately, I wasn’t a killer or a victim in the previous one, so I believe I got away with returning.”
The actor added that switching around the lead actor every few seasons truly keeps the programme interesting.
