Solid Gold Dancers: Where Are They Now? Catching Up with the Talented Dance Troupe

The eight dancers, who were initially seen in “Solid Gold ’79,” rose to fame in the industry as a result of the Syndicated series “Solid Gold,” which was created by and aired from 1980 to 1988. These dancers were able to build their own fan bases and become quite well-known throughout the nation thanks to the performance. People are curious about what their favourite members of the group are doing today given that it has been more than 40 years since they first appeared on television, and we are here to find out!

Darcel Wynne was one of the programme’s lead dancers and worked on the project for a number of years. She was known in the performance mostly by her first name. The reality TV star also works as an actor, choreographer, speaker, and has continued to work in the dance industry. Along with Dr. Ruth Claiborne, she co-wrote the autobiography “Darcel: Sexy’s Back and She’s Still Solid Gold.” Darcel and her husband Glenn Leonard have three children and currently reside in Los Angeles, California. On June 13, 2023, she turned 72 years old. She appears to still be teaching dance to women in their 70s and 80s, referring to them as her “Season Beauties.”

Where is Paula Beyers Now?

Paula Beyers, who is originally from Nashville, Tennessee, rose to recognition as a dancer even though she is also a talented actor. She has participated in numerous projects throughout the years, including “Pink Lady and Jeff,” “The Sonny and Cher Show,” and “The Jackson Five.” It’s interesting to note that she has been in films like “Grease,” “New York, New York,” “Staying Alive,” etc. Through her apparel brand Fun Stuff, she has previously tried her hand at running a business. Paula, who will be 69 on December 6, 2022, is not on social media, but we are confident that she is happy and content with her life.

Deborah, who played a significant role in “Sold Gold,” has since changed directions and is now the lead vocalist for her own band, which bears her name. She enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, the latter of whom will turn 25 in May 2023, whenever she can. The artistically talented reality TV star appears to be enjoying herself, and she takes advantage of any opportunity to play live.

Where is Alexander Cole Now?

Alexander “Alex” Cole is the next, and he worked in the dance industry up until 1990. He has ascended the corporate ladder throughout the years and currently holds the post of Vice President of CenterPoint Corporate Services, which he was appointed to in November 2007. Although he did celebrate his 67th birthday on February 26, 2023, Alex, who is based in Incline Village, Nevada, does not appear to be particularly active on social media at the time of writing.

Where is Gayle Crofoot Now?

Gayle Crofoot worked in the makeup department of the 1988 film “Portrait of a White Marriage” after her tenure on “Solid Gold.” This switch in careers was mostly brought on by a dancer’s bad back ailment in the middle of the 1980s. On August 10, 2023, the artist will turn 70; he or she does not appear to be highly active on social media. We hope she is doing fantastically and wish her all the best in life.

Where is Larry Blum Now?

After making a brief appearance in one of “Solid Gold”‘s episodes, Larry Blum went on to choreograph “18 Again!” Larry, who is based in California, appears to be still actively involved in the entertainment sector as an actor and dancer. The artist shared a glimpse into his career through images and films in his 2011 autobiographical show. We are confident that Larry is living life to the fullest because he does not appear to be an active user of social media.

Where is Judy Pierce Now?

Following her brief appearance in “Solid Gold,” Judy Pierce went on to choreograph for shows like “Matlock” and the 57th “Academy Awards” in the years that followed. She also served as a technical consultant for a “Knots Landing” episode. Judy hasn’t been very open about her life in recent years, and it doesn’t appear like she uses social media much either. We applaud her for trying to amuse us all and wish her the best of luck in life.

Where is Candy Brown Now?

Now let’s talk about Candance “Candy” Brown, who appeared in Solid Gold just very short despite being a member of the primary cast of Solid Gold ’79. After the aforementioned broadcast, it doesn’t appear that the artist participated in any significant television projects, and she hasn’t given the public much details about her life. We hope Candy is enjoying herself and succeeding on her chosen career path.
