Tammel Esco approached her from behind and punched her around 125 times before ultimately knocking her on the ground despite the fact that she ignored him. He even gave the elderly woman a few savage kicks. Later, he spit on her. The old woman’s face and head were covered in numerous lacerations and contusions.

The Yonkers Police Commissioner John J. Mueller said released a statement:
“This offender must get the harshest penalty conceivable under the law to make it abundantly clear that violent, hateful behaviour will not be accepted in our communities.
