After a heroin overdose, Monteith would be discovered dead at the age of 31 in a motel in British Columbia in 2013. After the distressing finding of child pornography in his hands, Salling would commit suicide in 2018 at the age of 35. In 2020, at the age of 33, Rivera drowned tragically. The show examines each of these people as well as the rumors and controversy that surrounding a program that was praised for being welcoming and providing happiness to millions of viewers and followers.
