Avatar: The Way of Water is getting released in high-end technology formats, including IMAX 3D, HFR, and PLF. As per distributors, there will be ‘more versions of Avatar 2 than any movie in the history of movies.’
The film will be in ‘high resolution, high frame rates, 3D, IMAX, PLF, different sound systems, and in 160 different languages.’ So you can choose to watch the film in the format of your preference.
Will Avatar 2: The Way of Water be Available for Streaming?
As of now, you will not be able to stream Avatar 2 on any streaming platform. The film is expected to spend at least a few months in theatres, after which it will be made available on Disney+.
The predecessor, Avatar, was in theatres for more than 30 weeks, with many viewers going to watch the film multiple times. Disney and James Cameron are expecting the same kind of reaction to the sequel as well, so they will not be releasing the film on the streaming service any time soon.
